A bit frustrated, I was hoping for better results this week with Pedroso and Natal.
The problem with Natal near the end could made him lost the oportunitie to made a better result.

A lot of changes in division 1. Winner of the week Op kop de sloot in climbs to the first place, Droeftoeters looses one spot. Melres United completes the podium for now. Berdios Pro Cycling is the number 2 of the week and gains some important points and moves away from the relegation zone. But everything is still pretty close, so we might see a lot of changes again next week.
In division 2A, Luptatorii din Rarau wins the week and climbs 3 spots, towards a promotion spot. Team dustin is the number 2 of the week and remains in the lead. Also here, everything from place 2-5 seems completely open, and also place 1 seems to be in reach for those teams.
In division 2B, Low Budget Cycling is the winner of the week, bringing him a bit closer to the promotion spots. Still a large gap however. Naspa Achne 26 is the number 2 of the week, and again gets closer to the first spot of JOOP Cycling Team. Only 52 points left between them.
Next week a hilly race for U23 and a mixed sprint race for U27. Don't forget to set your tactics!

I haven't paid that much attention to the new game engine so far so apologies if some of this has been covered elsewhere, but what do we think about the result in the 2A u26 race today?
I thought most of the way through the race I got my tactics right, Barrocas and Bandeira at some point had a 3 minute lead on the Peloton (not a big Peloton). This was at 5 hours 13 mins in (total finish time was 6h35m).
Q1/ Two in the chasing Peloton were my riders - I'm hoping they weren't helping in chasing those in the lead at all, have we got confirmation of that?
Q2/ How did my rider Portugal on 70% effort set as a helper, skill in mountain somewhere between 7 and 8 actually gain time on my 2 in front on a 15% mountain part? Both of those on 100% effort and over 11 mountain skill. Deroest one of my other riders is worse in every way than Barrocas & Bandeira but also finished in that Peloton with them on 70% effort (Gen Standings instruction).
I can't question Dustin's riders finishing infront in the end as I don't know their skills, but especially point 2 doesnt seem right to me. I guess the overall answer is - I attacked too early, but the question is: should it be this way / shouldn't skills and effort have more effect than they seem to have had in this case?

The new engine need finetuning. Frank was doing that but he stopped. Q1- I think they don't chase, they just follow the group but and I think they just need 5 helpers to the peloton gain speed to escapes, offcourse this was a mountain stage so they shouldn't won that much time. Q2- Like I said in Q1 they could follow the pack. My rider Silva was in front with 14M 7Sprint and 9TT and had the same problem as you. In a normal situattion the peloton could never catch him. Only riders with high sprint can win time to peloton in this final parts. Like I said we still have work to do in the new engine, thats why for now we will keep the current one in calendar.

I've got the same impression. A cyclist with superior mountain and TT skill and 100% should have been able to successfully attack at about halftime in a stage like yesterday (versus a lot of cyclists with only 70%).
You could say we went from one extreme to the other. With the current/old engine you only can win if you take a very early attack point, with the new one you can only win if you take an extremely late attack point.
--> The engine needs finetuning.

For the first time this season no change in the number 1 of division 1. However, En Danseuse is the winner of the week and climbs to a podium spot again. Headcase Pro Cycling gives the last place to SeMTeX, but things are still very close. Even the safe 8th spot is still reachable.
In division 2A, Carapaz wins the week and climbs to the first place. Consequently, team dustin and Luptatorii din Rarau loose a spot. Pollyjean and Arsenal '98 gain some points on the top 3, and it seems that these 5 teams will fight for only 2 promotion spots.
In division 2B, there is a new leader (for the first time this season): Naspa Achne 26 wins the week and passes JOOP Cycling Team. Both teams have a comfortable margin to the numbers 3 and 4. DeRodeLantaarn climbs to the 3rd spot this week at the expense of Low Budget Cycling, but the difference is only 10 points.
Next week: a flat U24 race and an allround climbing U28 race. Don't forget to set your tactics!

Dear FGFC-competitors, Since we started a bit late this season the last races are in the "empty week" after a season. However, the season update was announced for the sunday directly after the last race (5th of july), so all riders would be 1 year older then. I still want the same riders to be able to compete (as I think that's most fair for everyone), so the age of the last races will be increased by 1 year. Unfortunately, changing the age is not possible (to avoid conflicts with tactics that were set), so I moved the current races and replaced them with new races. That means that everyone who already had set their tactics should do so again. My apologies for the inconvenience.
edit: please note that at this moment things have not been fixed for the U29 race of division 2B, since I can't do that myself. edit 2: And also the U29 race for division 2B is replaced now

In division 1, week winner De Droeftoeters takes the lead again. Can he hold it until the end? Also Tossboom has a very good week and climbs to place 4, just 3 points behind the podium. In the fight against relegation, SpartaB takes some more points on his chasers, bringing him to a 64 points margin.
In division 2A, Pollyjean wins the week and climbs 2 places in the ranking to a promotion spot. The differences between the top 4 of the division are still doable, although Carapaz does have a nice advantage to the other teams.
In division 2B, week winner JOOP Cycling Team takes back the lead from Naspa Achne 26. Promotion seems certain for both teams, but will the 47 points margin be sufficient to bring JOOP to the title?
Last races next week: an allround U25 race and a flat ITT for U29. Don't forget to set your tactics!

No way I will hold it, I don't have anything decent for the ITT and it seems you have the better rider for Inabe as well.

dustin told me that there were some riders of currently 26 and 30 for the races of next week. I know it's confusing since they are listed for the races now, but please be aware that this is not the idea. In the season update tomorrow all riders will increase in age, so these riders can not participate! In order to avoid any problems (either with the races or for the teams itself), I advise everyone who already set tactics to check the ages of the riders. In the U25 race, riders of currently max 25 can participate, for the U29 race riders must now be 29 at max.

Kick his ass Who? I thought it's all correct now? Riders may be 30 now (because those were 29 before sunday). The problem was with 30 year olds subscribed before sunday (= 31 now), and I don't see them anymore.
