Yes! Partcipation of Franconia. Nice. Happy to see that. Very curious to see how good his generation is, would be a shame to see that go to waste.

Damn, I know the skills of Köster are not top top, but they way Sloodts destroys the whole field buy such a big margin is really impressive.

Week could have worked out a little bit better. My cyclists suffer too many flats and falls :-(

Thank god for Keldermans! Team Slayer still going strong, wonder where this will end! Well, I think it can end on place 2. His riders really start winning this season (even with strong competitors), and he also has a broad squad with some nice hill riders. That last thing is really helpful, as there are quite some hill races grouped together, and he therefore can win the ones where De Gryse, Miranda and Raab don't participate (like Belchior and Moreira already did). So well done Slayer, I didn't expect you to fight for the division podium already this season, but things are looking good for that.
In the mean time we started the Tour of the Alps with only 10 teams No Gonzalez and again no Franconia. I hoped that it was just a holiday causing him to miss the first weeks, but also after his last participation he didn't log in too often, and also no participations anymore. So either it's a very long holiday, or there's a different reason.

Nice words, but it won't change my objectif: place 4. If all goes well and we're lucky, place 3 would be an awesome, totally unexpected result.
Something you are very right about, Bam, is that my broad squad can take points where other teams need a break. There are my chances this season. Because the topriders in 1:1 (actually all Abs riders, Cauchy, Saloio, Selij, Raab, Verstraeten, Strasser, Stammes, Koster, Miranda, Cavaco, Yang - to name some) are a level way too high for my riders. I watch them racing with open mouth and lots of awe and respect. I only can dream of such kind of rider. Costa is in some fitting races, but the rest still need some better important skills.
There we comes to the positive perspective: most riders are still (relative) young, improve every week little by little and still have some margin for growth. I count 2 more seasons to be fully competitive, its like that in my mind.

I am also curious where Slayer ends this season. Can he be om the podium? I think next season he will come a lot closer to me and probably beat me the season after.

With the U21 race of today, its like closing the first chapter of the season. So far, very happy with the way all is going for my team. Ab is out of reach, but places 2 till 4 can be an interesting battle, even BAM looks (is) the strongest. Still, you never know ...
Now the Giro is coming, and this combined with Yorkshire, California and Suisse will make it a tough puzzle. We have much work to do !

Well first 5 weeks passed. They were very difficult to plan and I'm very glad with the +500 points. Did'nt think that would be the case, fieuw . flat-hill are not our specialty lol . At last there are mountain stages comming up, more our speciality. Had a closer look at the Giro today and planned our tacticks. The TTT is a pregnant dog (b*i*t*c*h) It will probably be Cavaco's last race in our team, time to cash in the chips. Mihnea has reached a simular level and is ready to take over the leading role. I'll also be selling quite a few cyclists along the way to the end of season, having a youthscout lined up since a few weeks ago. So keep an eye on that, some cyclists, mostley all, are pretty good with nice FA's amongst them. good luck to all. p.s. Can't wait to see Slayers team in the Giro
