Indeed very slowly (just like the skill loss around the early +35 ages - the only reason why you see a skill drop more often is that people usualy train a skill til just after a pop, so most trained skills have low decimals, and ofcourse every skill gets a decrease and not just one) I really thought I would hit 60 skillpoints this season with De Gryse but it's not going to happen. Do you think it is possible Schizm, 60 skillpoints? the best cyclist now has 59.70 skillpoints and is 34 years old, so I say it is possible. Although probably only symbolic because that is real skill (with the decimals), in visible skill it will be a lot harder.

Well that was a nice win of Duneau. Grabbed his moment. Congrats, Eboese. Thanks! That was a very happy surprise. It seemed unlikely that many of the big guns would go for this stage, so I figured he could do pretty well (maybe 3rd or 4th), but I did not see this coming.

Yeah, quite nice this late in the season, didn't see that coming 1 month ago. Too bad Koster got injured during the last weekly update, that's going to cost me some important points tomorrow.

Me neither, but as you can see in the graph from approximately week 10 on you start to close the gap with me. Probably because you're doing very well in the youngster races with Keldermans (in contrast to me) and in the grand tours. So with an advantage of only 41 points and some races that do not really fit my team, I feel far from comfortable.

That's going to be some fun in Andorra tomorrow. A lot of top cyclists with 99% (you never would have accepted this, would you?)
Well ... I only can tell you: Félix Cavaco is ready to take the battle! Form 10.

I only can tell you: Félix Cavaco is ready to take the battle! Form 10. Timm has form 9. Sloodts only 4 but he is going to win the Vuelta if he dosn't get injured.

Timm actually beat Mihnea as well, so the fitness point is not really valid anymore. Also, bringing this up constantly is getting a bit boring. Fitness training is part of the game, it's a strategy, deal with it.
Congrats with the Vuelta win, Ab. Well deserved.
Arsenault didn't go all-in today by the way (he's still at 80%) as didn't feel there was a lot for him to win today. He will probably have to face Verstraeten next week, who went for the same approach, hopefully he can finish close behind him.

If you think you can shut me up you re mistaken.
Fitness training is a mistake in the game. That's my opinion and I'll say that as often as I like.
Deal with that!

Thanks Eboese!
Mike, I sometimes get the idea, the way you talk about your (ex) riders, that they are the best of the game and that all others may not even tie their shoe laces. I have learned in life that there is a difference between being right and getting right. Indeed Timm beat Mihnea without fitness, like Eboese pointed out and I dare to say that Sloodts also would have if he didn't train fitness. Other managers have cyclists who are at least as good as yours. Verstraeten, Cauchy, Köster, Costa, Bruegger, Yang, Cavaco, Genon, Raab, Miranda, Cardoso, Zulani, just to name a few. They all belong to managers who also know how to play this game and have earned their moments of glory in it. Most of them have riders I am jealous about and want to have in my squad. Also, hardly anybody of these managers goes for GC in the grand tours. If they would, Mihnea wouldn't stand a chance, I am sure. But we are more humble about it.
We know your opinion about fitness training. Nobody will forget that. By just repeating it, the only thing you achiebe is that others think: ok, there he is again with his wining about fitness training. Do you really want to be known as a cry baby?

You don't need to shut up, everybodies opinion is valuable, also yours. And I do understand it.It is just part of the game.
I like to drive fast on the highway, but I am not allowed to. I hate that, but I just have to accept it. Doesn't say I can't give my opinion, but by keep repeating it, people will say: Oh, there he is again.... And they get annoyed by it.
