Yes... But also something very strange happened... Steyaerts was with de clippel in a winning position and suddenly (without mention of fall or flat) he is even behind group two at the finish at 1min30 that is not normal... I believe that steyaert should always have won this. I have serious doubts about Steyaert winning this stage. De Clippel (and even Quintana) are far better on the flat parts. Quintana lost it on the mountain/hill parts , but gained terrain on every flat and downhill part. Perhaps there is a hidden skill (tiredness? or something like that?) perhaps the form of the cyclist ? Quintana's form was a 10. Nevertheless you won the relegation battle. I've never seen a team winning/losing this kind of battle with so small difference. 2 points! (4 flats against 1 flat and a fall) Allaer had a flat and no helper around... Damn. RELEGATION%: QUILLER 0% - ALESANA 100%

To be honest Chakra : I am really sad that it is you that relegates. You really did not deserve that this season. About Steyaert: - Form 8 - mood : very happy
Yes he loses in the flat parts... BUT not 1minute 30 in that final flat alone. He was with clippel at the start of that final flat!!! If he ended at lets say 30 seconds I would say : 'ok'.

Quiller, Steyaert Made a fall in the last sector. Plus the fact that de clippel saved 1 attack at 100% for the last part Delannoye had the same plan, he was even 6 sec faster then de clippel, but the gap was too big. If he was in front with us, he would have won it. So in this case you just didnt use the perfect tactic
Anyway congrats with staying with is, but its a hard one for Alesana. Sad to see him leave, i know him for quite some time

We could discuss hours over this topic, but in the end the results are there. It's not in the final stage I lost it, or Quiller won it. It has been over 16 weeks. I lost against the youngster stages against Tossboom, I lost against other teams in the mountains, I lost it against others in the TT's. It doesn't hurt for me. It's a game you know. This should be fun for everyone. I admit it is sad to lose with 2 points difference, but I can feel the happiness of Quiller winning with 2 points. I've got the satisfaction of ending in the last stage before Quillers' cyclists. And as I said before... I'LL BE BACK!!!

@ chakra : my feelings are not pure happiness... They are mixed... As you said you have 11 victories... This should not have happened... BUT you will probably own division 2 @ evild : Damn.. How the hell could I miss that fall in the report... I must have been blind

quiller congratulations with not relegating. You did really good and some of your riders are impressive. Caetano could have won the Tour. In the final 4 stages he took back 4 minutes of the time of Abreu and the man is only 31 years old! In Tour of the Alps he was the only one that could come close to Rios. chakra. How unfortunate to lose you! 13 victories (stages +races + jerseys) by 7 different riders. Normally that would be good enough to stay here. tossboom well done: not relegating with this young generation, impressive. You won a lot of youngster jerseys and almost every U21 race. But 26 yo Mennens in Vuelta struck me the most. What a ride! punkska it was clear that you were the master of this league. You have good riders and it frustrated me that you always put up your lineup at the last moment. I was already cheering for Vindevogel until I found out Strauss was there too. Enjoy 1:1 angelogik Again our ways part. Rios gave you a lot of points, his injury gave me one. I hope you have a fall back scenario for if he retires. Thanks for another season together. Good luck in the top one. Thanks to all others, danpark, Poekie and @derodelantaarn goodluck in the 3rd! evild congratulations for finishing ahead of me once more... JOOP Cycling Team I'm glad your plan to not promote worked out, but next season please promote. Your team is too good for our division bosko Thanks for the weekly updates! I really appreciate them. I'm sorry for you that you came 17 points short for promotion. See you all next season!

When I take a look at the analysis made by bosko, it is clear to me that your main problem are the grand tours. You lose a lot of potential points there... If it is possible, you should make a focus on (buying?) a podium guy...

You lose a lot of potential points there... If it is possible, you should make a focus on (buying?) a podium guy... Not necessarily. JOOP Cycling Team also had only 1 GC podium spot, and he could have finished 2nd easily. I think the problem rather is that ALESANA only has 2 cyclists above 30y. But that's a problem that solves itself in a few seasons. Becucci and Grilo are excellent, but they can only go full every 2 weeks (so an average of 1 possible good result every week). Cyclists above 30y old per team: 1. Arsenal '98: 11 2. GIK team: 6 3. SpartaB: 5 4. JOOP Cycling Team: 5 5. WC VroOom: 6 6. Headcase Pro Cycling: 8 7. Tossboom: 0 (made that good with excellent U21) 8. Quiller Boys: 5 9. ALESANA: 2 10. DeRodeLantaarn: 10 (but the quality isn't high enough) 11. Low Budget Cycling: 0 12. En Danseuse: 1

That is because there are some manager with fitness trainers ... for their cyclists. So my intrest in these grand tours is really gone. ...[MOD_edit : Removed a part here, fitness training is part of the game. It is okay to have a own opinion about it, but I am fed up with people accusing managers who do use it.]You have my answer to that in PM

dont spill energy on it chakra, it will never change. It has been discussed multiple times and everything stays the same. You will be back soon, I'm sure you are building a fantastic team. Good luck.
