Torres had an unfortunate fall that cost him the time jersey. Bourdages couldn't follow on the first attack. So Mabit and Delanoy were the lucky ones. I'm quite confident about Delanoy's Form and TT, but Torres has an interesting fitness advantage. We'll see in 90 minutes!

For the stage victory, Teodorescu will do everything in his power to try to get Low Budget Cyclings first victory of the season. But I'm afraid Van Rumst (Arsenal '98) will be too strong. I hope Lebacq and Devoldere will do well, but top 5 will already be a succes for both.

Delanoy (Headcase Pro Cycling) did hold on the time jersey, but he had to go deep and will have to lie on the couch for 4 weeks now. Happy with place 2 and 4 today. Tossboom wins his 6th youth jersey in 8 tours. The future is looking bright.

That was close indeed! Cool to see Delanoy perform at this level. I have a long history with him.

My podium for today: Zoeters (JOOP Cycling Team), Bienfait (Arsenal '98) and hopefully Quintal.

Quintal did good today! I'm glad Wattez outsprinted Bienfait And congrats to JOOP for the victory of Zoeters.

Quintal did good today! I'm glad Wattez outsprinted Bienfait And congrats to JOOP for the victory of Zoeters. Yes. Too bad his hill sucks, so he couldn't attack at the first AP and was already 2 minutes behind Zoeters at the second AP. Apparently, that was half a minute too much. Damn, Wattez' sprint costs me a lot of money at the betting office.

5 Tour de France stages this week. Attack every stage and risk being tired for the last 3 stages? Or save some energy and risk to miss the right race? Doubts...
GIK team has the exact same team as in the Giro, meaning they only have 2 goals: the TTT and Rios. I guess it will be a fight for place 2 than? Good luck to all!

Terrible fall by Maffei and a beautiful win by Marques. Glad to be in 2nd position with Abreu behind the unbeatable star of the big tours this season: Rios.

Terrible fall by Maffei and a beautiful win by Marques. Glad to be in 2nd position with Abreu behind the unbeatable star of the big tours this season: Rios. Stage 2 and my GC podium ambitions with Maffei are gone. I guess that's the risk of having 0 for downhill... But better now than in stage 9. Now i can improvise and change plans for this tour. I was planning to save some energy with Maffei in the beginning of the tour, hoping he would make up for that in the last week when others would be tired. Don't know if De Clippel had the same plan? Or is he going for a stagewin? Marques had no competition today, so very easy win.

same poblem for me Bosko, a fall for Rijssegem ruined my GC ambitions. Sunday I was surprised by the big time gap, and now this. Don't really know what to do now. Rijssegem was my only egg in the basket. De clippel and Niculaie are in the line up, only for not losing much time in the TTT.
Maybe I have to go for the YJ, go for a battle against Leonard and Panucci
Meanwhile, I still don't get it what makes Rios suddenly so good... His stats don't seem that impressive, his wage proves that, but still, he keeps going and going.

I'm not in it for the YC this time. My YC guys aren't fit so just hunting for some stage top 10's. Leonard is a flat sprinter.

Panucci will go for the youth jersey. He will probably lose some time today to Giorgino, but he has a 12 minute buffer and the next races should suit him better. evild : Rijssegem didn't loose any time because of his fall. So you only have sunday as excuse . Today an important race for the mountain jersey. For the stage, I put my money on Kuzemchak (JOOP Cycling Team). And maybe Marra (DeRodeLantaarn) can surprise? For the mountain jersey, it will be important to see how many points Rios can gather today.

Kuzemchak not going in the attack.. Hahaha
