Yes, that was really unlucky with bondoni. Strong race by Levi's. Many riders upfront without using too much fitness.
Sgarzi is not riding GC. He lacks some mountain for that. I think GC will be interesting between Levi's stars that are a little better then bolzonis riders but these last ones have fitness training. Also Frade could be close but will have difficulties to win it.

Sgarzi indeed fell down to the 20st place after first mountain stage. First week of the Giro is over, lets see what we have here. - Frade of cano is in the lead but no big gaps yet. - Brinks is in the lead for de mountain jersey - Cleenewerck has 9 points more than van Ginkel for the sprint jersey - for the youngsters, Mantingh takes a 2 minute gap, looks like the competition will be between him and Bergeret, Op T Eynde and Verhaeghe. Others have already lost 16 minutes. 2 stage win for Bolzonis and one for Pedale Bolognese .

The first stages of the Giro are very close.
Still no differences, I'm first but I see two very strong teams with all the runners (Levi's Team and Bolzonis), so I'll try to get into the top 5 and try to put another runner in the top 10.
Let's see how this week progresses and if you leave the rankings more settled.
Congratulations to Pedale Bolognese, I hope it will help you raise your head, it has always been a very competitive team.

Congrats to DeZweters, Pollyjean and Bolzonis with the Giro stages this week! The fitness trainer of Bolzonis will make the difference I think for the last 3 stages. But I will try as hard as I can to stay on the podium. Goodluck for the last stages!

Hello guys, finally got my forum registration in order. Last weeks i got myself some points and victories. Hope this will be enough to stay in this division. I started the season with only 19 riders, last season 10 riders got retired. Most important my "leader" with 14 leadership points... who i always used for every victory. So i struggled in the beginning of this season, to find suitable replacements. As from now i start being competitive, which has resulted in some points and victories. If we continue like this, and keep reinforcing our team i hope to be at the top 3 places next season.
I will continue to follow this topic and enjoy having an active division (forum) Good luck to all for the next races

WoW. Toli Torres. He made it. I didn't think it was going to work but he held on. Smart to invest in the TTT. That made the difference against a fitness trainer. Really strong perfomance. Congratulations.

Congratz Berdios; Ancion was closeby. On a different note: the relegation duel is going to be harsh in this division I already had to fire my youthscout and finances will be troublesome, so not sure what fighting chance my Mortirolo team will have!

Congrats Berdios!
Sad to hear flavus. I hope your finances will go better. Maybe one step back is good to come back stronger. But still some weeks to go. I hope it will go well.

Our GC guy is injured. Not a good timing, but on the other hand this seems like almost one of the only important times it happened with his fitness trainer.
So, who will win GC then? Not many riders seems focused to win it. I would predict *** Raviol Vilanova ** Frade Cicalini * Dell Agnello Cammalero Moppe

Not many riders seems focused to win it. I would predict *** Raviol Vilanova ** Frade Cicalini * Dell Agnello Cammalero Moppe hope Dell'Agnolo will win he is the only one with 100% fitness and 2 big mountain races come. About Raviol i wanted to said also because of his high fitness and better mood then Dell'Agnolo but i dont think Raviol have high mountain because he win 2 stages without mountain.

Wow, Dell'Agnolo won GC with 29 years old. I'm happy and did not expect it. The plan was first to save him all the way to stage 6 and win the mountain jersey. But the day before I realised he could never beat Brinks and I decided to save him for a stage in the last week. I did not expect Broers to beat Brinks in stage 6 and Brinks becoming overall leader there. But then Brinks got injured in the update and I started thinking about yellow because many riders were really low on fitness. 100% fitness left and perfect terrains for Dell'Agnolo with flat, TT and mainly mountains. And if Frade would have raced the last race at 100% he would have won yellow but he was saved to ride Vuelta.
Congratulations for Broers and Raviol for other jerseys and Berdios again for youth jersey (it was quite close). Cheers
