Hi and welcome to all managers in DIV 3:2. We hope again to be the most active 3th division forum. At first sight it seems like all the newcoming teams, even tough being very different, are well worthy 3th division and can have ambitions for a good result.
Please share your ideas, tactics and aspirations for the new season Cheers

First part. Overview of the teams that stay in 3:2. - Bear. Result: 4th last season. TT15 trainer. Bear came with a bag of money last season to enter 3:2. He took it quite easily the first part of the season and settled somewhere in the middle. Then he took action and bought many good older riders around 38. He scored heavily and changed the dynamics in this division with 14 victories and 4 jerseys.
But with the season update some of these riders had to retire. That was the case for Chiodo, Lceanu (his leader), Mazziotta and most importantly Beaucourt who grabbed 2 victories and 1 jersey. But on the other hand Rebiere, Sylvain, Uliviere and other survived. But Bear decided to switch again and sell all of his oldies. So it becomes very hard to predict his current season. Without investment probably struggling in the bottom half of the competition. With investments probably anything is possible. Riders to watch: Renault and Vilanova already won and took home jerseys despite being only 34 and 29.
- Pedale Bolognese. Result: 5th last season. FL HL DO SP 15 trainer. Pedale apparently is hoping to stay in DIV 3:2 forever as he now enters his 8th season here. Pedale is the team with having many riders with really high transfer values for 3th DIV and used to dominate flat races. Lately he is training more allround. The update made retire his flat superstar Alunno at 38 years old together with Carbery and Vercetti (one of his leaders).
The good new is however that Parisot survived being 5th best cyclist last year in 3:2 as an delighted MOallround GC rider. The most realistic scenario is that Pedale stays on his spot another year and remains somewhere in the middle of the rankings in 3:2. Besides Parisot, the rider to watch is also Marbaix in flat races.
- DeRodeLantaarn. Result: 6th last season. Overall trainer. Many teams were thinking RodeLantaarn was going to end up really high last season with his large 30-35 year olds selection. But it mainly became a growing season. He was almost always close but it took a long time before he got his first win. Many good riders but no superstar it seems. That isn't easy offcourse when you don't have riders older than 34. So being one year stronger this year some improvent in the middle of standings in 3:2 is realistic. Cyclists to watch are Filipe, Torres (in the mountains) and Kolbert (for GC).
- Ngogo United. Result: 7th last year. Overall trainer. Ngogo has already for a few years a double strategy. Winning races with his older stars and letting younger talents grow in the meanwhile. The older riders mainly survived the update with only the disapearing of Floca and Reis. The newer generation is getting quite strong as Born (32), Van Der Borgh (31), and Caires (34) showed last year. Together with superstars Broers and Smit surviving this team could really aim for a top spot in this division. But as we have seen the last seasons the performances of Ngogo always are somewhat unstable and seem to be underperforming to what might be possible because their manager is not online as often as he used to in his most succesfull years. Conclusion: a quite unpredictable team always scoring their victories.
- Berdios Pro Cycling. Result: 8th last season. FL16 trainer. Berdios chose to fully focus on a new generation halfway last season. With selling all of his oldies scoring points in this division became more difficult. But he sure has a good new generation coming up. This might become a difficult season but after that the future looks bright. Certainly the team to watch for U25 classifications. Also Marcel Moppe still is capable of scoring a victory here of there when the terrain has some mountains.
- Burgos-BH. Result: 9th last season. Overall trainer. Burgos had a difficult season but could avoid regelation. Scoring top 10 is no problem but podium finishes are difficult. A large selection of riders from 25 to 36 so with some good choices he can score points on any terrain. Problably a difficult season for this squad as there don't seem to be weak new teams entering this division. His main riders to watch are Frade (mountain and GC races) and Hamard.
- Pollyjean. Result: 3th last season. Overall trainer. Mixed feelings about the past season being the first with riding only with newer generation riders. There were victories and a quite good amount of them but still performing against older riders still seem a hard struggle. Especially collecting jerseys seems like an impossible task. Also mood wasn't really improved much. Hopefully with the new season and being one season stronger everything goes a little easier.
Overview of the new teams will be written in a few days when i find the time to take a look at them. Cheers

Nothing to add for my team. Polly is absolutly right. The main goal will be to stay in division 3. Off course I want to promote but that isn't realistic. Hoping for more wins and jerseys but the season will be hard looking at the race schedule. Some though weeks!

thx Polly for the season kickoff . Just one think to add: I'm in the top 20 in Schizm his stats (most topskill cyclists of their age) peloton.proboards.com/thread/7918/transfervalue-top-100-tv?page=16. Very proud! Lets make a good season out of it I'm training flat as of last week, lets hope this translates in better results since lots of races have flat. We will see how it goes staying in 3th div will be the goal.

I saw that. Very nice, it actually does not amaze me. Still many seasons to go but you have some future in your team. Isn't it difficult when your trainer only has one speciality? And a 18 year old already popped up. Congratulations

Thx I upped my scout to 18 for the start of the season. Yeah, training is kind of random atm. Next trainer will be a bit more diverse so I can start to finetune the older cyclist in there specialty. Think is cost, a trainer with like 4 or 5 skills is to expensive.

First overview of the new teams. At a first glance Levi's Team seems like being the strongest newcomer having a good mix of ages. Many riders come with a good mood, there is a steady trainer and probably good results in -25 and -21 races. In my opinion he can even win this division. Bolzonis has a team of mainly oldies who probably will score many results. But the team only training fitness and i don't really see a long term plan. That long term plan is present with Mortirolo and St-Etienne cyclo team. They seem to have a decent growing team who could end up somewhere in the middle of our division and be getting stronger every year. The most unpredictable team is probably Zweters having only 19 older riders, he could surprise but I guess he will struggle more in the lower part.

Congrats to bolzonis with the victory of 31y old Blisio. Yes, Blisio is a nice rider. I almost bought him last week but Bolzonis kept on overbidding me. Finally the price became quite high for a rider almost only usefull in sprint races. I allready made my first mistake by setting my final sprinter only at 75% instead of 100%. (but he would not have made top 3 anyway I guess). Thx! I was really happy with Matejek his stage win. Too bad there was some peleton getting together after him almost closing the gap. But I hoped for him to win GC too but that does not seem easy right now. The last stage fits him well however so we'll see where we get. Probably saturdays race will get you close to victory? But it might seem a tough season for you. No really weak teams that entered our division. Do you plan on bying some oldies just for getting some point. Or no way back policy? However if you take a look at By the way it does not always seem like a bad option to go down one division.

Well, I already did that a few seasons ago going down a division. Not that much fun as it looked . Specially the season going down. But I'm still undivided, I have plenty of cash to buy new cyclists but whats the fun in that xD. Its gonne take a good long think about strategy for this season. :/

But the results come way to easy. I like winning, but I cannot say that it is really satisfying this way. Besides that, I am curious if my cyclists are good enough to stay in 3th division next season.

Depends in what 3th div you end up in, if your in 3:2 it will be hard ... But a lot of fun ;-)

Congrats Polly with the first win. Good luck everybody for this season! You were very close today. I did not think I was going to catch you. Very lucky for me that the final sprint part was a downhill one. But Filipe looks very promising for the future.
