2x 36+: not so good anymore, they has to give me some points, hopefully one of them is a LS16, which I do not use anymore as a leader
30-34 9x: 6x allround, 1 leader, 1 flat and 1 tt, no really good ones, most of them can give me some points, hopefully
26-29 9x: some allrounds, some need more training and a leader
22-25 8x: most of them can give me points in youth classifications
18-21 6x: no points, no expectations

Ambitions: I hope to stay in this division and I aim for place 3. Challenge: I have to try to find some ways to make my team stronger. What next? If this succeeds, maybe next season try to jump to 1:1 for having this experience once.
But most of all, I hope for an active division, with nice and tense competition and fair play. Happy to compete with my former competitors and peloton-friends Joan, Dirk and Rarau again. Delighted that two active community members, Slayer and Dustin are here. And very interested to see what VdGG can do.

Is TV of your best cyclists? hard to say. High values on one skill will lift it... I will do my analysis in the weekend. (At least hope I have the time). Will let you know, but since I make notes of the best cyclists on the transfes list, I think I will guess 4 out 5 :-)

So my team joins 2:2 !
I'm excited for the start of this season. You can win Division 3, but what does it mean when you are in a strong Division like 2:2 ? That's my big question. At first, I was ambitious, but now I see all this famous names ... I better temper my urge for victory.
Good luck everyone ! And one more thing I wish you all: no injuries !!

Well guys ... check that date of my other post first: Sept 11, 2014. So a nostalgic post it is.
Its the one I posted 4 years ago when I joined Division 2:2, in Season 10. A legendary season, where 2:2 was thé Division of Peloton. With Schizm, Toss, BLDN, Koereurs, Alesana, Melres and LBC. Epic battles between Vigario and Picault, the young Jongeneel, 19 (!) pages of posts on the forum, drinking a beer together after every races. The good old times, so forgive me my emotional howl.
So only good memories of 2:2, of course !
My team stayed there for only 1 season, making immediatly the crossing to 1:1. If this can happen again ? Hmmmm ... I have no clue. Most teams (actually: all) are pretty unknown to me, so impossible to say something about my ambitions. After 2 weeks, things will get more obvious.
Good luck everyone !

start of a new season always exciting, getting to the point where i can't keep blaming my young trainer from holding me back, he's only 25, but exp/leadership growth starting to give me a bit more flexibility with tactics. As always I will be aiming for the best result I can get, probably 3-4 weeks in will give me a good idea what that is.
interesting to see how the new planned race engine for next year might impact transfer pricing this year.
good luck all.
