Delarue also did better than expected, so apparently al ot of happy managers. Also very happy to see the top 5 in GC is 29-33y old!

Also very happy to see the top 5 in GC is 29-33y old! That's why we are all so surprised. The young generation is taking over. I chose Ahnert with a feeling like "Let's see what he can do here." Now I know

Congratz EvilD for the stage and winning the tour with Veller (33y). Really happy with Donleavy only 29Y and this wasn't his terrain, finish like that was very good and must surprisely Torres winning the YG with only 1 DH and 0 hill this was a bonus. Nice to see that no 1st generation in top 5

well, I'm quite surprised to see Veller took the GC and the stage win. I was planning on selling him in the upcoming weeks. Guess I will wait some more now:-) Never thought that he could battle for the stage win as he was only at 84%. I do had high hopes for the GC, but this was more then I expected. Glad to see the younger generation finally get some succes. I just noticed that I forgot to put Lehning at 100% ElGringo, otherwise it might have been tighter. But I do have to admit that I hadn't had any LS points anymore and that his DH isn't much better. His hill is. But anyway, the green jersey looks good as well:-)
The first real oldie is Tagliaferri on spot 9. Are we finally set off with the young ones? Let's hope so. I'm impressed with Delarue and Derriso

Today a sprint race. But not a normal one! A profile with many possibilities to break the peloton, ending with a downhill sprint. I expect a small group (10-15 cyclists) who will sprint for victory. No clue at all who will win. Maybe Vindevogel (Headcase)?

I sure hope so. The race looks like the one Vindevogel won last season in Slovakia. But Angelini and Craddon, who finished 2nd and 3rd there aren't there this afternoon.

I don't think the profile is selective enough to drop out any cyclist with normal procedure (ok, given that no cyclist with let's say less than 4 in flat skill will aim for the final sprint). Only those having bad falls will drop out and not come back. So I hope that my champion doesn't take a bad fall.
Too many sprint races in this first weeks ... you really have to think about which sprinter to send to which race. But I have someone of whom I hope that he makes it into the top 5. Ready the stage for 31 year old Ken Debaets!

Well... No ambition at all today… So only useless youth with my leader.

Kudos to Vindevogel who got dropped out during the mountain part and came back in the downhill part and finally won without any helper.

Today the next U21 race: Trofeo Piva. 3rd time in a row in the calendar, one for the hillers. I'm sending Hoogeveen in the attack, but I don't see him finishing in the first 5. Skory (KS Crusaders) and van der Plaats (WCVroOom) already made the podium last year as a 20y old, so I assume they got stronger and can go for victory this year. Also De Paepe (Cycling Joop Zoetemelk) and Sacha (Semtex) seem to like the raceprofile.

Trofeo Piva ... 2 cyclists injured in only one race. Great!

GODDAMNED. I give up on this game. This is the second time this happened to me (and now it was crucial) I gave my orders to the team... Four attackpoints … One rider 100% (the attacker) … Rider was still at 100% effort BUT the attack points were gone in the race. So no attack, no points. This is it.
