That was a very well thought-out plan indeed. Congrats! Apparently Constanzo (Streetfighters) finished 6th by only riding at 75%. What if he rode at 100%?

Thanks. And he is only 20 yo. I'm curious what he can deliver in the next two seasons.

idd, nice piece of managing there headcase. I'm surprised with the fact hazeleger has no Sp. Never thought that would be possible. His mountain must be superb for his age compared to others, but still, winning this one with only a few LS points, congrats. I will try it myself in the future:D I'm also surprised by the level of skill the 19-20y old already reach. I'm willing to say that they will become stronger then their colleagues at 21 now
today 2nd win for clementino. There was a slight hope left to compete for the mountain jersey, but Stroh is too far away. It would cost me too much anyway:-) What happened with Cormier Bosko? Forgot to play him? I expected jurewicz, but I knew him from his time with Antwerp. Had no idea from de lima, Maldonado and welsch. Glad I could clinch it.
Tomorrow I will play Craddon, but I don't expect him to win. The difference is still too big I noticed. It will be an exciting battle between Stroh and Acerbi. Acerbi has the fitness benefit and is only 2mins behind. Tight one:D I'm curious how far crusaders will go with his fitness. I guess we will see him back in Giro.
Bosko, i agree with you about the TL prices. Old guys are sold for high prices. Don't get it either. Same with Guiggi, 1.8m for a 38y old... Crazy.

I left 2.1 but I keep seen my riders winning there, Clementino stage and Stroh the gc. A mixed of emmotions, for one side happy that they win other nostalgic for not have them in my team to get results in 1.1

ElGringo: I would have been happier too if they were in 1.1 evild: Cormier preferred todays race. Too bad Zeegers (Groenenhoek) did too. While Stroh had to take an easy day (to be able to strike again in the Giro?), Acerbi saw his chance and took full advantage of it. Deserved win of the Time Jersey! But winning both Points as Mountain Jersey isn't bad either. Guignard finished 3rd, possibly because Dirven already has other plans in 2 weeks.

yes idd, pulled him back, gap was too big with the first 2, and the difference between 3rd or 4th or 5th isnt worth the fitness drop imo. Then I rather use him again within 2 weeks. Same with the youngster jersey. I assumed that Gik would go at 100%. So he did. Glad I saved some energy. Don't know what to do with giro. I might put in some youngsters only and save the oldies for Romandie-japan-suisse-slovenia. Don't think there is much to gain for me in a tour containing 3 (fitness) updates. Might be a chance to give my young leader an extra Ls point. TdF and Vuelta is a different story
Nice win for acerbi, after all a convincing victorie. Stroh needs to be happy with his mountain and green jersey. Both will be ready for Giro. Lamego is somehow a bit of a disappointment. He was the man to beat in the past seasons when I look at the rankings, guess the age skill drop has a big influence on him or wasn't this his favorite tour? 90k wage, omfg :S
edit: damn Guidulli, nearly the victorie. Remarkable; Veller is only an 8 flat :-)

LS of Thielemans is 5, so I could distribute 5 attacks among Hazeleger and De Schrynmakers. Terrible piece of managing by me in San Remo. I was hoping for Perot's hill-capabilities, but his lack in flat resulted in losing the peloton early in te race. In the end, he did the final hills almost as fast as Guidulli (congrats on that one, Stinus!) but he started those hills more than 18 minutes later...

Well well ... in Div 3 of course Guido Guiggi would have gone for the GC. As part of my tactical adaptation to the hardiness in Div 2 I burnt him for an expensive (in means of fitness invest) stage win today. Glad that this - at least - did work.
So GIK team and SpartaB ... be prepared! My team attacks now for the 6th rank in the division standings!

So GIK team and SpartaB ... be prepared! My team attacks now for the 6th rank in the division standings! With Guiggi, you've got some gold in your team indeed. He had a very big part in the 5th position of Schizm last season. I assume (or hope ) he will get a bit less strong in the course of the season though. Apparently I'm not prepared. I was hoping Cantini could go for a good GC, but seems he's not as good as I thought... Hopefully my youngsters can end good in YC to earn me some necessary points, although some of them will save energy for the coming tours. Remarkable first race of Crusaders. 4 guys in first 9, 2 of them didn't even attack.

Guiggi is not a GC cyclist anymore imo. His skills are decreasing too fast. Still, in pure mountain stages, there won't be many riders who can follow him when he goes at 100%. So I would also play him for stage wins. He will win some more this season, but I think he might be gone next one.
Tomorrow castelo Branco is the one to watch. I'm curious to see how bosko's youngsters will perform against Baez. 2 stages to go, tight battle:-) Paparelli is my favorite to win the tour, tomorrow's TT will be crucial I guess

Ulivieri was disappointing me today. I was hoping he could make it to top 5. Tomorrow he will take a break and Castelo Branco will go for it. Also watch Ripanu, Bourguignon and Guichon. Finally some mountain in the ITT. We missed that last season. Cosmescu was very deplorable in de Ronde on sunday. I was aiming for the podium and I'm pretty sure he would make that if he hadn't fallen and punctured right after the first attack.
If I want out of relegation danger something has to happen now.

Guiggi is not a GC cyclist anymore imo. ... yes, that was my thinking, too. But now it's a nearly 6 minutes lead ... or perhaps even more crucial 8:16 against Paparelli and 10:16 against Dodos. So tomorrow's stage will be quite exiting for me. Anyway my plan failed. I was thinking to snatch the first stage with Guiggi and play Testa for the GC. I couldn't see that happening anymore ;-)

Im curious to see your tactic tomorrow Joe. To be honest, i doubt it that Guiggi will make it. Difficult situation for you, playing him at 100% will mean you have to do it without him in the next couple of weeks but you need to if you want to keep a chance of winning the GC. Choose wisely i’d say :-)
I’m putting all on Dodos tomorrow. This means i dont have enough leadership points for baez. The way to the white jersey is yours bosko. I will still try something, but it will be insufficient i guess.
Nice battle to avoid that last relegation spot, exciting to see how Headcase and bolt keep teasing eachother...

I like the battle for relegation, but not the position I am currently in. Thanks to my win with Castelo Branco (bear in mind that Bourguignon rode this one on Save Fitness) I am looking at a gap of only 53 points to place 6. Bolt will hump over Sparta and GIK when Pais Vasco is done.
