Only 108 points left of the 213 I started with this week. It are gonna be a tense last 3 days. Don't feel too good about my chances in 2 of the 3 races either
Impressive gap of Papaert today by the way, more than 0.8 km/h faster than the number 2
Well, I'm happy it go exciting again . By the way, if you look from the other side. I still need to catch up more points in the second half of the week than I did in the first half . Actually, it was only today that you lost a lot of point (92), the other days it was 'only' 10 and 3.
Happy with the win of Papaert. I knew he had a good change, but such youngster TTs are always difficult to predict.

True, but with the Tour of Almaty there are also more points to earn in the second half of this week than in the first half...

And only a 2-day tour as well, these can often result in a lot of points as the stage winners usually do very well in the GC as well. I still think bam is going to grab it, but it's a very nice battle!
Unfortunately I only have Imperial for Almaty, Ponsteen and Haniq are down with injuries, so I can only really compete in 1 out 2 stages. In Lombardia I will play Galante, hopefully he can do well again. Did not expect him to grab a couple of wins this season, so that has been a nice surprise.

I'll play Zulani tomorrow. He is 30, well trained all the time and this race suits him very well. Curious to see how big his loss will be compared to Imperial. I would really be disappointed if it will be more than 4 minutes. Saturday my man is Belluzzo. I guess top 5 should be realistic since I don't have problems with the duo attack bug. No GC guy here. Also interested in the fight for GC. Who will go for that? Velardi?

Well, when a race really suits a rider, they can even win it at 30 years I think (we had some examples of that previous and this season). But you need some (or a lot of) luck for that as well, the strongest full-trained riders shouldn't compete. The advantage that Zulani has (I think) is that he didn't "waste" training time on mountain, so that makes the gap with Imperial already somewhat smaller for this race. We'll see. But I don't expect a 4 minute loss, maybe 2m30 or so. For the GC, I also expect Velardi. Probably Imperial as well, no duo-attack worries there since eboese didn't have a real competitor for the second stage. And maybe Torroni or Sironi can do a last trick, but they seemed a bit over their top to me.

After today again 17 points closer, still 91 points remaining. A bit of mixed feelings about today's race. The unexpected good thing is that Freitas took some points at the intermediate sprints and won the mountain sprint. The bad thing he lost connection to Imperial and Chaumet at the second attacking point.
I guess tomorrow's stage will be for Clercx?

And you still have Barbosa to win the U25 so some extra points there.

I hoped Ferreira to do better in the intermediate sprints to be honest. That's what I brought him for...
I hope that Clerckx can take tomorrow's stage, but Velardi saved fitness today as well, so maybe he is the favourite.

I hope not. I will do my best with Belluzzo but Clercx has had 3 years of training extra and a better mood, so I don't think it is that realistic to beat him.

Congratz bam. With the win of today you ended the season in style. I came close this week but in the end the gap is still 120 points. Happy with the second place (my first one), didn't expect that at the start of the season.
