Hi guys
As the current season ended. Is it possible to get some information about timing? One week break? When are retirements? When are new divisions set up? When does the new season start?

What happened? Its wednesday and suddenly the update is done... i still had to buy merchandise:-(

We announced in game 2 days ago that the season update took place during the week.
I also lost riders, 3 top riders, Naz, Tirlea and Lorens and also Stroh that I forgot to renew.
But we will see who didn't bought merchandise and we will compensate that. About old riders we cannot do nothing.

We announced in game 2 days ago that the season update took place during the week. But if someone had seen different on the forum they'd have no reason to check the game before Saturday (unless they wanted to buy riders) I've not logged in since Sunday and was surprised to see the update happened already. Not bothered loads myself, don't need the merch income, but it'd be annoyed if a contract expired because of this (as a few other managers are).

Crap, I completely missed that announcement as well (or at least I didn't notice it was moved to during the week). Lost 1 rider, not a very important one, but I can imagine this will hurt for a lot of people who lost better riders.
I can't remember we did this update during the week before, or am I mistaken?

I can't remember we did this update during the week before, or am I mistaken? we did that last season, and it was always my intention to repeat that this time (less spare time next weekend, and from internal communication I thought the same applied to EG) Also before we took update duties over, the seasonupdate was often done on the nights after the last race...

Perhaps the communication wasn’t completely clear, I have to admit that, but what I don’t understand is why people want to wait with extending contracts until the last day. After last sunday it was clear the contract needed to be extended? Why waiting? Isn’t it easy after the sunday update to buy merchandise and extend contract? Only cost 5 minutes.

I bought merchandise and my cyclists were ok with their contract. But first there was announced the update would be on Sunday and the races starting after the update. So people are enjoying the sun, the holidays, their swimming pools etc. So I can understand they are waiting for later and not being under timepressure at first to renewal contracts and buying merchandise. The best tactic is buying merchandise on sunday after the update, I know. But being almost bankrupt, I Always have to wait until the week is over and races are done. It's just the confusion of being told first update on Sunday and then suddenly it happened during the week. No races, no tours (except the TdF for real). I guess it is normal that you wait for later on. And those 5 minutes for a contractrenewal…? Sometimes, yes. The longest one took me almost half an hour. But good job! update has been done, new calender is online. (last season way too many downhill and downhill attacks) Still have to check the new stages. But we'll take it as it is. Glad someone is willing to create one. Keep up the good work.
