Hi Peloton manager, season 20 is over and during this week we are preparing the game for season 21. Thanks for playing with us this fantastic game. We are doing our best to make the game even better every season. For new managers this is the off season, sunday will be the season update and the game will be offline for about one hour while we do the season update and adjust the new calendar and divisions. New season, season 21 will be next week. Lost during the update 2 cyclist. No mony to buing them back. what No?

Have I been extremely lucky or did the retirement script not run?
None of my cyclists retired. After the update I now have 1 40 yo, 3 39 yo and 6 38 yo cyclists.

retirement script did run, so luck was surely involved but I also think I must review the code on the retirement chances : they seem a bit lower as was intented

idd, don't see many retirements tbh
how is this calculated? random pick with higher risk at higher age or something?

I think ElGringo will have a different opinion, if I see what he lost due to retirement.... ouch!!

true, thats why I don't get it it seems your team sustained the update once again? pfff :-)
quick look tells me you only lost Vidal? The entire top from 1,1 last season is still there. So yeah, EG has reason to become frustrated :-)

I actually sold Vidal a few weeks ago and it seems he retired now, what a wonderful decision Same goes for Quaresma, I sold him in June and he seems gone as well. None of the guys still in my team retired. Lucky guy. And to answer your earlier question. It's indeed random with higher risk at higher ages.

These are the odds communicated in the past: Retirement chance in the season update 36:1/18, 37:2/18, 38:4/18, 39:8/18, 40:16/18Schizm probably knows best if they are still valid.

Thanks heppie! One remark: I just noticed that the type of the WC ITT Medrisio 2009 race is normal, and not ITT (not just in the planning sheet, also in the game). I guess that's a mistake?

Yes, you're right that must be an ITT of course. Probably forgot to set the race type while creating it...

What about 2nd stage of Tour of Japan? Climbing for 12 km. Is it a mountain ITT or a normal race with 12 km in total...?
