And another victory (Banciu) ... This was a very very very good week for team Quiller - lots of money, very good results AND a very good training also (just happened) for a lot of riders... Next week we want : 3 podiums and at least one 5th place. (or one win and one podium). ... and best division rider with Banciu

and best division rider with Banciu That should indeed be a goal too, but it is maybe too much to dream for (i know NAZ is not at full power but I think u will try something with him nevertheless (and then is the question do i let banciu compete directly to naz or not...)

Well, last week of an exciting season. Did not expect to win the division with that kind of difference. I am happy to see the way my riders performed. Altough Quillers and Helders stars really where a pain in the ass for gaining mood properly. How good my riders are, they still cannot compete against the older, well trained riders. Really curious how that will be next season and which teams I will face then. To be honest, I hope not too many teams with older riders I want to thank all managers for a fantastic season. Wish Heroes and Carapaz lot's of luck in 4th division, Helder in 2nd and all others in this fantastic division! Naspa, really going to miss your excellent predictions.

The best rider in our division. Naz (Very Happy, 85% fitness) vs. Banciu (Very Happy, 100% fitness). An interesting fight in the last week. If the line ups are unchanged, Naz will have a tough fight today against Parisot, Venturato, Buitenhuis, Custodio and maybe Ramos. I fear the best rider will not win the price of the best rider. The chances of Banciu are huge.
@ad, it was my pleasure. I enjoy making a good analysis of the contenders, if I have the time. If needed, you are welcome to ask for a quick scan on your competitors once you are in second division again.

It is true though. Custodio is my card today. I designed this stage. With these distances it is the most allround stage of the game. All distances are in ratio equal. So I wanted to see what kind of rider would win. Custodio is outrunning most of the competitors on downhill so I estimate him to be in the leadgroup after the first attackpoint. Unfortunately Custodio cannot even tie the shoelaces of Naz and Buitenhuis on mountain, so he won't win the stage but at least I hope he can make them nervous I think Buitenhuis and Naz will fight for the win and hope Custodio kan finish in the same group as Parisot, Venturato and Ramos.

Naz is only with 78% fitness. My bet will go to Lorens to win today and I hope Naz will finish in 3rd spot after Buitenhuis.

@ab. I estimated Custodio to be more all round and therefore better in downhill. But it is true, I was not totally sure. DeGryse is at 100% fitness as well. ElGringo . Yes, Lorens might win. But this might prevent Naz from getting the needed points to get the best-division-rider-reward. Will place three be enough? How much points is it? 40? Banciu is now scheduled for Giro the Lombardia. Which might suit him very well. And there is not much you can set wrong as a team manager :-) Second spot for 60 points might be enough.

@ab, this was what I was thinking. Yes, If today is not enough, Melres can try to set Naz as well in Lombardia. A 10th place might give him a point edge if Lorens will make sure that Banciu will not be first.
But well, how much is the reward for having the best cyclist? And how much for a first place today?

Well, Lorens did his job. Buitenhuis a nice second place. But Ramos decided to spoil the day for Naz (sorry) by taking the 3d place on the podium. 43% of fitness left for Naz. Will he be able to get some more points this week?

Very dissapointing result. How can it be that Custodio is not in the first group after the first attackpoint and Naz is. i have seen Naz's stats when he was for sale and I am pretty sure that Helder did not train him on downhill after that. So the downhill skill of Custodio is better, his sprint skill is sufficient and he has more fitness. Also strange dat Gommers with 85% fitness and set as helper, finishes in the same group as Custodio who was the same flat and hill skill, 1 point less in mountain, better downhill skill and 15% more fitness.
Proves again how extremely important the TT skill is.

Well... To be honest : NAZ is now my favourite for the best rider (in points) in this division... But lets be honest he IS the best rider in our division...

Will he be able to get some more points this week? Yes, but without Lorens, Naz would have gotten more points with a third place. Now a second place in Lombardia would be sufficient and Helder has only two options left to stop it I think.
