I read in the wiki that 25 is the best number to have but I don't see why.
There aren't that many races/tours, and I can't see that all 25 would get race time. Am I missing something?

As soon as you send more riders for training, the effectiveness decreases.ADVICE always train ONLY 25 cyclists, not 12, not 33 cyclists
for example if you train 26 they will train at 96%
why 25?

in first week do you have Tour Down Under and Dubai
on a tour you put 5 cyclists
So for first week do you need 15
5 on Tour Down Under , 5 on Dubai and 5 on Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race
for win a race in first 3 division you need to put your cyclist at 100% not at 70%
if the cyclist is played at 100% he will lose 5+(100-70) = 35 points of fitness
cyclists played for a race in Tour Down Under will lose for example
35+5+5=45 points of fitness if is play in first race
or
5+35+5=45 points of fitness if is play in second race
sunday at update will have (100-45)+20=55+20=75 points of fitness and not 100 like the cyclists not played
In second week you will need
5 juniors for U21 Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne
5 for Omloop Het Nieuwsblad Elite
5 for Strade Bianchi
5 for Paris Nice
so you need 15+20=35 DIFFERENT cyclists for 2 weeks
of course you could put same captain in all races, or on half on them and you need only 30 cyclists
or some cyclist you play at only 70% and they lose after race (70-70)+5= 5 only 5 points of fitness
they have 100-5=95 points of fitness and you could play on another race.
