Hi to all! I'm almost new, and I'm training cyclists' flat skill not continuosly (I train fitness some weeks). Until now, I haven't got any increase on flat skill. In order to obtain such improvement I have to train my cyclist on flat for 5-10 weeks on a row?

Depending on your trainer skill. And the age and the skills of your cyclists.
If the trainers skill is low you'll need several weeks. With a trainer skill 15 it takes 4 to 6 weeks for a cyclist younger than +/- 30 and skill lower than 7.
The older a cyclist gets, the longer training will be needed to pop.
From age 32 skill the cyclists progression takes longer. From age 35 skills will decrease (training or not)
The lower the trainer skill, the longer it takes to increase the skill of a cyclist.

It's not true? only if you are supporter we all , from here, have an excel for follow our team. rarau means 'If you are Premium member (paying)' then you are supporting the game only the premium members get the messages every sunday The first month you received a free month premium, so you got the messages, but after that month you became a normal player so no messages on sunday (when you pay premium you get them back)

be careful of costs. You can gradually improve your trainer in a given skill from the training page however this will cost. I used to to keep costs down get a given skill up to 15. 15 is the magic number as it is as high you can go without being reduced by the game engine randomly (when it reduces it goes down to 15 from 15 to 20). Once you have training skill up to 15 in say flat keep training all at that skill. This is effective up to skill level 7 however training slows for cyclists with skills higher than 7 depending on their hidden talent in a given skill. Once most are at 7 or higher start to train your trainer in another skill (one level a week) until again he reaches 15 then REDUCE in the first skill e.g. flat. Swap all cyclists over to the new skill. roll through all the six main skills and in this way you will have cyclists with good base skills and be competitive in the lower divisions. Of course some will be slightly higher or lower in each skill eventually. you could choose to specialize in flat or mountain or even TT but you will only grab odd stages and maybe not too good in GC for tours (maybe OK for short tour depends on your opposition).

I should of said when you reduce get down to about 5 as costs are exponential so low skill levels for the trainer are not too expensive.
