In the weekend you can do whatever you want thats why I keep forgetting to check if I have enough merchandise. Is the Vuelta going according to plan, guys?

So far so good. One win, and in lead for YJ. So points are almost guaranteed. And some supps too. I hoped for Van der Vrecken to win a stage, but he managed to get 4th something. Beyz idem dito. So now it's just fun to ride the stages and hoping for a top 20 in the stageresults to minimize the financial flop. Forgetting supps is the cause of, or one of, my financial struggle. But with 12M in the bank it is a not a disaster. As for me with 500K in my pocket it's a catastrophy. Breschel has sold or is selling his last cyclists. Only 5 in his team and remaining a 36 yr old one. Daffern, Osequera are for sale too. I was amazed of their skills. Learns me I have to learn al lot of tactics. As for the race tomorrow GP Montreal, it will be nothing for me. Haven't got enough fit cyclists to be competitive. But I will ride it. Experience, contracts, falls, flats, supps...Part of the game. Good luck.

I do hope you will make it Chakra, your enthousiasm for the game and this forum made this season the best so far for me. I have Ilie for Montreal today. And the Vuelta is going better than expected. The last the weeks are fantastic in general. Hopefully in the future we can discuss and battle again at the same time. My tactics for riders is to have them at avg 8-8 for sprinting and TT. Ilie for example is 7-7-12 and 10-10 for secondary skills. But my good riders are getting older, so I have started buying good 28 and 29 year old riders with the same primary skills in which I will train the secondary skills. At the moment I have 7 million in the bank after making some expensive purchases

Congratz! I think even c@isse has cursed you now. 14th place to Reno Thomassin. Had to be fit for WC. Several candidates for a WC. My prediction in team chances: Youngsters: BJA, ALESANA, Polhill Youngster ITT: ALESANA (and no one else) TTT: BJA, C@isse, St Etienne, ALESANA Pro Road Race: BJA, C@isse, ... Unless the registration of competitors remains as it is. Then I WILL WIN ALL OF THEM!!!

I honestly agree with your prediction. Although I think I have the topfavorite for the WC adult race, I have Schulze all ready to shine on that day TTT is still unknown and considering your U21 ITT certainty, I believe you can win that. I am actually not sure about my U21 WC race, I have only 1 interesting rider for that. Good luck next week, I am excited for the outcome

I'm excited for the outcome of the WC too. I assembled my teams, but already need to make a change. Selling one of my good all round cyclists Bastide. Hopefully he brings enough cash to survive the season. If not I probably have to make some major decision or go bankrupt. After the WC there will be a few team mates leaving the ALESANA cycling team. Due to financial issues. Past week I had a loss of 350K. Not very well. I had though a good transfer. Bought a youngster for $10 and sold him $160. With the sign money a hugh profit of $142. If I can do that 10,000 times, I'll be safe. Well for the WC, I'm pretty sure to win at least (or max ) 1 stage. The ITT U21. (with 6flat and 7TT and a bit of hill and mountain) But I'm pretty sure too of a wonderfull outcome after teamcyclists as Ilie, Schulze, Waeterschoot, Guiggi and many others. I wish you all good results. And especially flats and falls.

Today is a big day. Hopefully it will be a great day too. Sold Bastide so I can survive another week. I mentally prepared my cyclists and they told me they could win all the World Championships. And I believe them. It's a matter of tactics and being a team. This was my peptalk: Cyclists as Schulze, Waeterschoot, Ilie, Aubert, Guigin, Daffern, Osequera, Ofsak and many other competitors are not that good. They can hardly climb a mountain, they can't race against a clock, their sprint is more like a wobble on the road, on the flat parts they need to hang on a motor or car to be able to follow the group, they cry when they see a hill, on the downhill parts they wet their pants. Today will be a great day! Tomorrow we will beat them, on Saturday they won't know what happens and Sunday they will only see our rear tire for a little while. We will have had our shower before they even finish. We will see them crawling over the finishline. Victory will be ours!!! There is only one sad thing in this kind of stages: we'll have to be patient in the long seats. But I'll bring a book of your cell Phone to read a bit or check your texts and play a game. I've heard there is a great game on the site: www.peloton-game.com. ALESANA can beat them all. Nah!

Yes I know sprint doesn't count today. That's why sprinters were saved for the other WC's.
I didn't expect to win the TTT, cause there are a lot of good TT'ers in 3:1. I rather expected a 3rd place or with some "luck" a 2nd place.
BJA did good as well. Even with 2 non-100% fit cyclists. And even with a cyclist who ones belongs to the ALESANA team, I notice it now.
