Well, the new teams from 4th Div are taking the lead here. They had some tremendous wins in the past and surely they made a lot of money out of it. With this they bought some promosing stars. Good for them.
Paris-Nice is a drama for my team. Thought they would do much better.
The youngsters stage in Kuurne will probably be won by Polhill. My with jersey candidates are still training to be good on a flat circuit. And with a 5 flat I think they will not win this stage. But you never know...
Your Sidley did even good in Down under. Moved up some places and made 1 min good in time. Well done.

Again disappointed today as finished the Paris Nice tour and GC standing best rider was 12! I was going for stage wins but that did not work either as a 3rd and 6th is all I could achieve.
Seems a shame that this division is being totally dominated by two teams...
1. BJA Cycling Team 2 2 1 2 1052 2. C@isse d'Impasse 6 0 2 1 924 3. Polhill Racing CC 0 1 0 0 336
After Polhill (my team) there are five or six on around 200 points. BJA and C@isse are taking all the points and the money! So facing yet another season trying to keep in the finances in the black.

A couple of seasons back I trained hill a little too much and consequently have several riders good at that skill. My riders are terrible on the flat and very average on mountains. They are better downhill but that does not seem to win races.

And even youngster they have. Yep, it will be frustrating to continue the game with no wins. But....it's just the 2nd week. Keep financially healthy and go for the podium stages. (3rd place...?) One thing is for sure. They (BJA and c@isse) will not be in 3rd Div next season. I surely thought you would win this stage Andy.

The terrain did not suit my youngsters I am afraid...
tomorrow's race is a weakened team and probably my Achilles heal - flat; so just riding to make the numbers up and get a bit of experience.

As it is for me too. Just riding for fun. Though I Always hope for a top 10 - top 5.
Guess I lack a bit of sprinters. Max is sprint 8

Have we found their weeknesses? No sprinters in their team. C@isse has a 7+ and BJA an 8+
But no more than that?
Congratz to Pegasus. He used his horses wings in the sprint.

I am weak also at sprint and especially flat. Yes Pegasus is soaring at the mo. just doing orders for Algarve and really in two minds to go for stage wins or GC but resigned to losing heavily either way!

Well, I'm hoping for a stage win. But I guess it would be better to go for GC.
I think my youngster (Clitus) will (hopefully) win the YJ. But he's not that good in mountain areas.
Flat a 6+ , hill OK, mountain needs some work. And the other main skills are as good as his mountain...

Wow, yes! Victory for Callens. With his age he was smarter and stronger then the other cyclists. More than 5 minutes ahead and taking the lead in the Volta ao Algarve. But I'm sure he won't keep the yellow nor the mountain jersey. 64% fitness left. Nbrs 2 (Wielock from BJA), 3 (Thomas from Pegasus) and 4 (Ilie from BJA) have 80% left. But a good GC even though. A chance to end top 5 in the GC? And what about BJA: 2nd, 5th and 6th! Andy, your Jarding had bad luck. Several attacks but never able to escape. Close call for 4th and 5th place in the Div ranking. Finally one "0" of my scoreboard has been erased.

Pegasus finally overtook me so slipped to 4th and probably 5th after you overtake me tomorrow!

Hey Andy, let's just race for 3rd and 4th place in the GC Div. I'm not willing to promote.
Past week I forgot to buy supp material. Damn stupid of me. So now I had to sell some decent cyclists. Not my top, but it may be nefast for the seasons to come.
Today just Callens goes for the GC in Algarve. I wonder if he can hold a good top 5 (3?) place. Surely he'll win another stage this season. Perhaps in the Giro.
Looking forward to your first victory.
BTW my firstname is Leo.
Seems we are the only ones to maintain this topic. Sad...., but I'm glad I'm not alone.

Callens surprises me. Time Jersey and Points Jersey and second in Mountain Jersey. And Clitus with Youngster Jersey. Excellent Volta. And financially saved (for a few weeks) Volta seems to be a tour for cyclists whose name starts with Ca***: 1st stage: CAillat (Caisse) 2nd stage: CAllens (Alesana) 3rd stage: CArtier (Caisse) Time Jersey: CAllens Points Jersey: CAllens Mountain Jersey: CArtier Oké the youngster jersey is won by CLitus that's not CA. But his name begins with a C I miscounted the fitness of Callens. He won't be fit for the Giro. Unless training fitness. But that is IMO something stupid. He will be competing again in the Tour de Romandië. Still worrying about the tactics for the next few days. It's a puzzle.

Hey everyone! I used to be a very active member as well (maybe not that much on the forum), but my dramatic financial position due to my horrible wages policy led me to this situation where I am left with six old riders We'll see whether I succeed in avoiding relegation or bankruptcy, but I wish you all the best nevertheless!
