Hello,
My team is ALESANA - management name Chakra, as you can read here in the left column. I'm back from 2nd Div. Couldn't hold it there, though I had 5 victories, but I ended 10th. I hope this forum will be an active one.
My goals this season: * make my team younger * hold on to financial healthy * ending somewhere between 3rd and 8th place in the Div ranking * winning 5 stages - hopefully one of the WC at the end of the season * good sell of my older cyclists * having fun with this marvelous calender
I wish you all the best in this hard Div.

First stage is over. And no e-issues. Wonderfull.
Congratz to the Flying Toad Team. Promoted from 4th Div and instantly a win! Impressive.
And how exciting it must have been. Pegasus in 2nd place beaten by just one second. Thrilling.
Now we know who the TT cyclists are: Le Nouail and Dodemont. Watch out for the WC TTT!! And what about C@isse d'Impasse? Leader in the team ranking?

Seems this will be a lonely inactive topic. Though some read it, but don't write anything.
Too sad.

Last season my team (Polhill) started well but slipped from 2nd to 5th over the season. We are finding it hard to compete and keep things solid financial therefore season objectives are...
1. Stay in the black! Be cash positive. 2. finish 3rd or 4th. This is a tough objective, some good teams in our division. 3. Win races not necessarily tours. May not have strength to win grand tours. May grab the odd short tour. 4. Bring on the 27 - 30 year olds as my three main GC guys tip over to 35 to 37 5. Work out how I can get decent youngsters by not hiring a youth coach (too expensive - see above) but possible dip into the transfer list.
I predict a tough season ahead!

Well you're doing great Mr Wheelnut. It seems more difficult to win stages then 2 seasons ago. And Andy you forgot Bergami winning the youngsters jersey. A very good TdSL. I guess my youngster will win the YJ in the Tour Down Under. That is if he doesn't get injured.

Thanks for your kind words...my young riders are nothing particular. I note not many have a place on tours for a youngster these days?

indeed they don't. My youngsters aren't that good either. But I'm trying to renew my team with youngsters and selling the elder.
An still hope to stay in the black positions.
Today it's Becucci's chance to reach top 5 in the stage. A flat talented, but his others skills still need to be trained. Secretely hoping for a stage win.
