Age is also another important factor; a younger cyclist will develop faster than an older one. The skills of cyclists older than 35 years can go down, depending on their trainer, trainers mood, future ability of the cyclists etc. If those factors are high enough, the cyclist will keep on improving. But it might also be possible that old cyclists train slower, don't improve anymore or even lose skills. From the age of 40, cyclists will be unable to improve their skills. Is this still correct? They talk about the mood of the trainer, which is something from a long time ago. Is there anybody who can confirm or deny any of this suggestions? Or does anybody knows for sure how it works?

Is there any info ever released about how fast they will drop? Or will I have to guess with my oldies?

Cyclists start to drop skills from 36yr.
Brouillet 36yrs dropped from 7-7-13-7-7-8 to 6-6-13-6-6-8 in around 10 weeks.
Had to sell him.
Training him was useless. Gained max 2000$ in TV, but mostly around 600$.

Does leadership also decrease? If no, is there any way to not let a 80y old with 20 leadership be your leader?
