When to stop training for old guys?
Is there a point that training speed changes from 18 to 33 - 35?
When do old cyclists skills start to go DOWN? Has anyone reached that point yet bearing in mind the age of the game.
I know have 30 cyclists and need to drop some from the training regime. also have several over 3o; 33 being the oldest.
Team name is Polhill CC in div 4:1.

Have you read the wiki? No riders decrease skill yet, but older ones do train slower. If you want riders to keip or increase their value it's better to train youngsters only (30-). The 30+ riders you can buy, I'm pretty sure your 30+ riders aren't worth training because you can buy better ones for cheap on the TL.
Off course never train more than 25 riders!

In the old version of Peloton cyclist started decreasing in skill when they turned 35, I need to look up if this still is the case.

After some research : training a 35 year old still is usefull , under 7 you still gain atleast 0.17 after a training (19 skill trainer)
This is ofcourse under the condition that the riders age before training in the season update.
I found no evidence of skilldrops yet , but I keep an eye on that.

Thanks Schizm. This is interesting because I am sure I have seen elsewhere an assumption both of skill drop at 35+ and skill training drop off rate for older cyclists. Currently there is a lot of riders aged 30+ riders being sold on the TL with this assumption in mind. I wonder how widely this is known?

Until 34, everything goes the same. At 35, riders train a lot slower. From 36 they drop skills.

so development i.e. training is the same for a 34 year old as it is an 18 year old?
