Relegation zoneeeeeee blues I'm further in there than I've been for a bit. I currently don't have any radical plan to stay up, or any radical / exciting plans for my team at all. It's all got a bit stale. I suppose my general hope is I have enough quality in my team to JUST get 8th. I've carried too many youth players for most of the season, just incase they're useful at some point (hint: they won't be, I'm not training them). It's not even that I lack time, I'm just unsure who I should sell. I'm pretty sure I should sell ~3 senior riders. Maybe even 4. I have 26 of those (effectively 25, one is just an occasional captain, hasn't trained for at least 1.5 seasons). I'm training 4 u19s so even though I usually train 26, that's too many riders. And most of them are useless tbh! (sigh mood). Maybe typing this will motivate me to finalise a plan. Afterall, I sold Manier earlier this season when he was one of my favourites (ish). Now I've trained my trainer to almost be able to train flat (ok this is one kind've exciting thing, I've NEVER trained it with this team) I want him back, haha. Latest tangent: that's becoming super expensive. I was never really going anywhere with this post, so I'll end here.

Lol, Punkska. You better should have a plan. Not only for now, also for the future. Ask yourself first what you want and then see how you can achieve that goal and make a plan accordingly. Staying in 1:1 shouldn't be a goal itself. Being in the relegation zone all the time isn't very healthy for your finances.
And to be honest, I have only 5 competitive riders (besides the U21), I rode tours with only younger riders and I am still not dead last in this division. So maybe you should check your riders and make a plan accordingly.

I can say that I am in the same situation and seems that when I use my best riders someone have better ones and I cannot fight for victory. I had the hope of the U21 but there are better riders then my. I will keep fighting to stay but right now seems very difficult.

In 1:1, only 5 teams seems interested in the GC ... remarkable.
1. Lamego 1.02:38:48 Team Franconia fitness: 69% (training fitness) 2. Karma +2:52 Nightbiker fitness: 68% 3. Vanpeteghem +3:11 Slayer772004 fitness: 73% 4. Picault +5:51 Schizmano fitness: 77% 5. Iorga +6:58 Hüsker Dü fitness: 52%
Looks like a piece of cake for Lamego, but for the podium, it will be a close call. Karma used the most fitness, and is each stage slowly losing ground. Picault has the most fitness left, but a gap of 2:40 ... thats not that easy to close. Still, the coming stages seems to be in his favor. Exciting ? Exciting till the last day !

You say he has max FA in flat, but Serrapede is 31 years old, his other skills are trained only till 7, with a max FA you should think his flat should be at least 14 at this age. So I'm confused. Thx in advance.

Thx in advance. well i really don't know if it's really max cause i don't know what is really the max FA ^_^ but is high for sure, he took 4 weeks from 7 to 8 and from 8 to 9 when he was younger in the 2012 so i realized he had very high FA, then i changed his training so i can't remember well, and now (in may and july), at age 30/31 he'd take 6 weeks to improve from 10-11 and 11-12... actually he has some extras so it can be near 13. he has extras also in TT and sprint, yeah, maybe he shoud be 14, but i didn't train him very logical i have to admit... ^_^ maybe i should have trained him in flat in the early years of his carreer to maximize his FA but i didn't... anw i pulled him with the YS and he wasn't 18yo so he had less seasons than others for training, if i remember well he's from season 3... btw i changed the note with "very high" FA...

Based on what Heppie does in 2.2 and on the table after 6 weeks posted by punkska I made this table : Division 1.1 after 12 weeks Nr | Team | RW | TJ | PJ | MJ | Points | Last 6w | Diff pos | % Last 6w | % Total | 1. | Team Franconia | 14 | 5 | 6 | 2 | 3570 | 1668 |
| 15,1% | 16,1% | 2. | De Droeftoeters | 16 | 1 | 2 | 4 | 3190 | 1478 |
| 13,4% | 14,4% | 3. | Rats | 11 |
| 1 | 4 | 2375 | 1112 |
| 10,0% | 10,7% | 4. | Schizmano | 2 | 3 |
|
| 1884 | 881 |
| 8,0% | 8,5% | 5. | Lions of Avalon | 5 | 2 |
| 2 | 1838 | 1179 | 4 | 10,7% | 8,3% | 6. | Slayer772004 | 6 |
| 3 |
| 1790 | 822 | -1 | 7,4% | 8,1% | 7. | Hüsker Dü | 2 | 2 |
|
| 1445 | 637 | -1 | 5,8% | 6,5% | 8. | PAN | 3 |
|
|
| 1428 | 694 |
| 6,3% | 6,4% | 9. | Nightbiker | 5 |
|
|
| 1415 | 643 | -2 | 5,8% | 6,4% | 10. | De Kasseienstoempers | 3 |
| 1 |
| 1377 | 876 | 1 | 7,9% | 6,2% | 11. | Melres United | 3 |
|
|
| 1160 | 614 | -1 | 5,5% | 5,2% | 12. | De Koereurs | 2 |
|
| 1 | 743 | 466 |
| 4,2% | 3,3% |
The last 2 columns give the % of the points scored in the last 6 weeks and in the whole season. Based on this 2 teams significantly improved their form : Lions of Avalon (who also gain 4 places) and De Kasseienstoempers. Everyone else except the 2 bottom teams had a (slightly) smaller share of the points-pie in the middle third of this season.

Strange that Nightbiker didn't won today with Oury. I was expecting he set his best TT rider at full effort. Arno you are steeling me points for my maintenance
