I would like to know who are the favorite riders to win the Giro. eboese seems that is playing for stages and green jerseys. The only riders I know that is very good and is in front of my Gc rider is Briac Gherschon an ex rider taht is very well positioned and with 99% fitness. So who are the others favorites?

Would anyone like to pick the 5th member of my Rheinland-Pfalz-Rundfahrt squad for me? The one who has a go at the 3rd stage. I have like 4 options fit and I have no idea. The best hill option has the worst flat and mountain, but also best tt. The 2nd best flat has better hill and sprint than the 1st. The 3rd best flat has the best mountain, and sprint of the 4. Worst hill. Better tt than all but the best hill guy. I think you should pick a winner rider of that 4 options. Quatannens I was expecting more from you You have been to quiet.

One day Feringa and Loete won't be my most productive cyclists, but I'm not sure when that'll be (enter: mood is too powerful rant). Seriously though, it is. Really hard to make bought cyclists worth the same as older ones (who have the mood from being in weaker divisions previously) But maybe it's designed this way, and I want to use the transfer market too much. Humm. I'm with you on that one, I really hate how powerful mood is. The worst thing is that you usually end up in a downward spiral: mood is not high enough --> rider doesn't get a high enough finish --> mood drops --> result get even worse --> mood drops even further. It's extremely challenging to gain a lot of points with a bought cyclist, especially if you don't get his mood up immediately by offering a better contract (like I failed to do with Malton and Grazziotin for example). I think the only way is to offer them huge contracts, but that will kill you financially in the end. I actually considered getting relegated at one point in time, just to provide some of my riders a better chance to win and increase their mood. In the end I didn't have the patience to tank one full season though. In the long run it might have been the best choice though.

Yep, no GC for me. I lack in TT skills, mountain skills, I don't train fitness and usually screw up my tactics whenever I try to battle for GC. Picking stages is a lot easier. Gherschon is looking strong indeed. Believe he already did top 3 in the Tour de France last season and won a time yersey in one of the smaller tours this season. De Jong from Rats was third last season, especially considering number 1 and 2 are not participating this year he might be up there again as well.

Seems I lost a good opportunity to win today since De Koereurs didn't play.
Hüsker Dü was your 1st win this season with my ex rider.

I wasn't talking about podium places :-p , I don't know Nistor is already on a lower number and pretty far down and Bourel is even further down (only a few seconds ahead of Guala) if he is in it to win this Giro then the current GC doesnt tell a thing.
Moldovan and De Jong have lost time now, they seem out of the race. But Canart is the GC man for the Lions (he had the best time today of all those in the current GC top 10 so better watch out for him).

DD with a very good week, the old 2:1 boys following, letting me overtake Nightbiker and PAN overtake Lions, and a decent week from Slayer as well. Thanks to both ElG and Ab for training and letting me buy Allouche yes Worth it now. Stages I think I have a chance of winning this week: 1? It's gonna be a bit quiet on excitement. Iorga and Domingues Barata look ok for top 10s in the Giro if I decide I fancy that but I'm not sure either are good enough for top 3. I tried to make a list of the GC contenders but there's too many as I don't know this divisions riders well enough yet. Shame I don't have the cash for Mansano (and couldn't decide who to sell to free the cash), I fancy him for 2.5m but we'll see if he goes higher.

Ha, Punkska, be happy that I sold almost all my good riders. That's competitor less. Yes, Maxz, I wasn't online but I heard it was between you and Franconia?
Then it is good you won. Franconia is already the best hill team. Only Rats comes close.
If you need money, I am happy to buy a good younger rider. Don't know if you have a good one, 24 yo or younger?
