Tried to steal some time today with Guiggi, but that, again, turned out to be a tactical disaster. Wrong attack point? Could be..

My first post in 1:1 - finally ! Getting more time now after some busy weeks Well ... good to reach my goal: being part of 1:1. I'm doing better then expected, but every race again I'm impressed by this strong top riders. Especially the climbers. Uuf ! Heavy skills they have. For the Giro, no GC here, but I'm hoping to have some more Top 3 places the coming races. Maybe in the Tour I try the GC, but that are worries for later.

Hi Slayer, welcome to the division forum. We could use a vivid discussion on this quiet forum!

Never thought that I am forced to pick up points in U21 races. But hey, I am happy to adapt to that new reality..

Peloton is full of surprises. This stage was made for Dcarie, but unfortunately (well ... 'unfortunately') he got injured, so Modino tried it today, and this was the result. Crazy. Seems Modino is my best rider in 1:1. He deserves a better contract

Whistler, your riders are not normal. Rijo is a great rider but almost 5 minutes..... Luckily I let him attack in the early stage, that's why I have the mountain Jersey, but 5 minutes, pffff.
Lesson in humility!
Congratz. Awesome this.

re: Martinez Jeeeeeeez. Why so low? Are big teams not checking the market? Are there not enough big teams with a demand for someone like Martinez? Are there just not enough teams with money? Is it a(nother) sign we're dying a bit currently? Questions. Congrats though Franconia, you got a bargain. I would've gone up to 3m at least, I just don't have 3m (but I had enough for 1 more bid, once someone outbid me on Lanoe. Damn timing. It'll annoy me less if you tell me you were online and would've outbid me again I guess )

Maybe because his wage is pretty high? I certainly don't want to buy too many cyclists with high transfervalues because the wages will make your team die I don't try that much with negotiations, but I don't think you can lower the wage with any kind of new contract? (Except for very very high wages you offered yourself)

(Except for very very high wages you offered yourself) I guess that makes sense in one way. ~40k a week is Iorga + Ragar + Feringa's wages in my team, they have 550 points between them this season, which one rider obviously can't do. On the other hand, most teams pay at least 200k for their trainer per week, so... (shall I get really geeky and do some STATS on teams outgoings? ha) Surprised no-one (if they have money) tried to push the price up or bid and sell on for 4m+ either though. (I know this is all slightly off 1:1 discussion, I just figured it was about the best place in the forum for it)
