Congratz for your 100th post, since they are very usefull too ! Since your times are different from mine, which formula did you use ? I think the differences are due to rounding. Since there is either no difference or the time in your table is 1 second higher. My method is different from yours. I save .html files with the results in absolute time from the website. Then I execute some script I wrote. This script reads each .html files and extract the data from it. Then it sorts on time (if two times are equal then those are sorted on division and rank). Finally the script write the result as a table in a .html file. So the times I extract are those displayed in results on the website. These times are in seconds. You use the times in the .xml files (at least I think so). I think those are the exact times and have some decimals. I guess in the .html files they calculate the times from this number and round the decimals down. I think you round them either up (.5 or larger) or down (.4 or less). For example the number 1 in 1:1, Oury from Nightbiker has a time in the .xml file of 992.212768862054 seconds. This are 16 minutes and 32.21276886 seconds. We both have a time of 16:32. No difference in this case. Number 2 in 1:1, Magne from GSC has a time in the .xml file of 1002.74375614448 seconds. This are 16 minutes and 42.74375614 seconds. From the .html files I got 16:42 while you got 16:43. In this case 1 second difference. By the way I think reading from the .xml files is easier, but at the time I construct the script I didn't remember that they exists. My method works fine for ITTs and TTTs. With some changes it will be possible to handle also normal races and tour standings, but up to now I didn't do that. The main disadvantage of my method is that I need to save all the results manually. Therefore I do this most times only for the first 4 divisions.

Thanks for the explanation , I have written a macro in my excel sheet which collects all XML's for a race or tour from the site and combines it in one large one. The drawback of the XML is that for races all sectiontimes are included as well. (for tours that isn't a problem). I will adjust my formula to the lower value then. Before the new engine I had written something in Delphi which browsed through all the divisions to grab all the results ou of the HTML's.

For the real peloton-nerds here are the combined xml-files for : Etoile de Besseges, Tour of Oman, Tour de Langkawi (stages and final results) Tip : you can open a XML in excel and filter or sort them anyway you want. Warning : The stage files are really are rather big because they also contain all part-times , be patient.
