oh well maybe in spain i have to change my view and try to go for the time jersey instead of stages. Another thing which wonders me is the gap between us and the first 2 in GC. I have won 15 stages and 8 jerseys, and look how many points i'm behind. Tours 1 win, rarau 1 jersey. Oke, rarau has like 10000 riders, but tours... how did he do that:-) not that i'm jealous because when i see how semtex and alesana having hard times, i rather stay some longer in 3.1. But i'm just surprised that the gap is that big... hi guys, Alesana and SeMTeX managed to survive in 2nd Div after all; 1 more race to go but we both have +160 pts ahead.. agreed that anything is still possible but I don't think so It was tough for both of us, we talk about this game a lot I read this topic allways because we used to be here before this season and before that .. There you got it. And thats what is waiting for you next season rarau. In dont think your cyclists are good enough to compete in 2nd div. Otherwise you would have won much more stages this year. You probabely need flat above 10 to start with, combined with good second skills like hill or mountain. And by good i mean close to 10 as well. Multi skill is much more important, the higher you get, the closer you come to the point where details make the difference. Last season you won a mountain stage with a 8 mountain single skill guy, high weight and height, this season that guy would have made the top 10, but next year he will make a fool of himself. What i mean is fire those low valued mono skill riders and build yourself a small but strong multisquad. oh and soto and sironi, i forgot to play them at 100%. Thats what you get with playing this game on a mobile device:-) you are absolutely right about the monoskill being important, but you need to have even more than multi-skill riders They have to be multi-skill + extra on one of the 3 first skills, so multi's with specialisation. But if I've learnt anything this season (a bit late though) is that the two skills: mood and experience are very very important. One of the mood key's: is giving good contracts, the downside however is high wages for instance so managers have to pick out their top riders who'm they give good contracts because of mood and others that are helpers to give them less. Winners in 2nd div nearly allways have good mood and good experience

Okay... now that I've signed him I have to talk about the name of my newest transfer: Constant Morals. I guess I never have to worry about him cheating on his wife or using PED's.

Negru told me also on romanian forum that TT is not so important. Of course my cyclists are not ready for division 2 but also i stay to much on division 4. I will not have problemes if we discuss about 10. For me it was a problem if we discuss about +12 Second skill 10 then is difficult because probably i have something like 10 flat and sprint and not 10 flat / 10 mountain. Near 10 flat/hill i may have some cyclists but they have an age. Like i said i trained a lot sprint and downhill and now pay off in the bad way. About cyclists i dont use probably they end to go away from my team, the best example is today race 18. Povre 0 0 00:04:36 Tours.Cycle.Club 19. Le Calvez 0 0 same time Tours.Cycle.Club 20. Castellazzi 0 0 same time Luptatorii din Rarau Castellazi lost a lot of time unexpected Castelazii was played final sprinter but lost a lot of time. Fink played heleprs finished on place 10 in the same time with the winnner from my team. So i have a lot to learn about this motor engine. About mood and experinece i dont have problems, my cyclists have a lot from both.

Good season everyone. The win column was pretty even with everyone other than TCC from 7th up having between 12 and 16. 1300 points from 1st to 7th is a pretty close final result... even though Rarau maintained the lead most of the season he never felt comfortable with it based on his posts... which is what you want in a division.
Good luck to Rarau and TCC in division 2. From reading the posts on here by those already in division 2, it's clear my riders aren't ready. But in a sense they're still on the young side (my oldest riders who aren't just leaders are 27) so probably need a few more years of training to build up to be ready for the next level. I'm pleased with how they did this past season.
My brag list for this season:
First time since playing I won a GT (Lacroux won both Giro and Vuelta). Highest finish for my team in division 3 (5th, 8th and 4th the prior 3 years... 3rd this year). Highest point total for my team in division 3 (never cracked 3000 before) Highest number of time jerseys, point jerseys and mountain jerseys my team has earned since entering division 3.
I think a big part of that success was a calendar that rewarded hill quite a bit.
I don't know if promotion is possible for next season... and I don't know if my team has the skills to cope if it were promoted. I've always been under-skilled in mountain and survived off of stages where you can place strategic hill attacks. But soon I'll be focusing on mountain/flat training and that advantage might slip away. Being strong in hill has made me competitive in enough races to avoid demotion... but not good in enough to win promotion. This year was probably my best chance as a mostly balanced but hill focused team and I still came up short.
Time to change things up... but it might cause worse results and even demotion in the short term.
