Rarau, when you know TT is your weak skill, why dont you play at 100% to secure the victory? You have like 65 cyclists in your team, but you're not using them well i guess. I think you underestimated your opponents because of the 5 mins bonus laloux had taken. I saw this one coming to be honest.
same for the calendar, it is what it is. We all have to possibility to look at it at the beginning of the season. I can hardly believe that you only have one mountain guy in your big squad, so whats the problem? And like Ab says, when you would have looked into the vuelta schedule, you would have noticed that there are not many mountain stages:-)

So like a conclusion maybe the calendar was the problem too. Burgos the hardes mountain 3 days tours is in front of Spain. How to have results in Burgos and Spain in the same time?!? Spain isn't a real mountain race this year. I know but i think i will play on Spain with my best mountain cyclists.

Not all 5 cyclists have good TT Laloux have good TT but other mountain cyclist from Burgos have low TT. I have 20 cyclist with 18-20 years age. 4 captain maybe too much captains because i use only 2 23 cyclists trained (+2 juniors) and probably 10-15 cyclist who i have for ?!? some of them have good skills without TT I expected to lose 3-4-7 minutes but not 12 I have some good mountain cyclists but i like few of them And some of my mountain cyclist have huge sprint so maybe was trained for nothing.

Ooof.
That ITT result was a bit of a kick in the gut. I knew I wasn't winning the tour but I thought I could keep a podium spot. Dang.

On another note... average cyclist skills for Vuelta for my team:
flat - 5.0 hill - 6.4 mtn - 6.6 dh - 3.4 sprint - 4.6 TT - 7.6
I'm hoping for 3 stage wins and a podium in the GC. We'll see.

Fl: 5,6 Hl: 4,6 Mt: 6 Dh: 2,6 Sp: 5,6 Tt: 7,2
Those are mine. Might still change a bit as im doubting on 1 cyclist. As you guys probabely already know, hill is my weak skill. So the vuelta will be a hard one for me. I played sironi in the TdF, now im gonna try and bring some other cyclists into play. Might become a big disapointment, but then at least i know what the guys are worth:-)

Bradley Cauchy (7451) fitness 0 I expected better results from Ohto Kettunen (3923) Strange France for me.

My supporters are 11295 but I think my base is a bit higher as you promoted this past season but I've been in division 3 for a while. In retrospect, I probably should have laid off a little in the ITT and had a little more fitness for the final stage. If I could have finished a place or two higher I may have taken the points jersey with Cauchy.
I feel pretty good about the layout of the Vuelta. It strikes me as a course that favors balanced riders who can attack on pretty much any terrain, and I've got two guys (leader and backup) who I think can use that. The rest of the team are my best TT riders who can hopefully also compete for a stage here or there.
We'll see, maybe Lacroux can pull the Giro/Vuelta double.

+ almost 50k wage for the 2 cyclists;-$
I end with 13440 supporters and 3 jerseys. Not bad. Will result in some nice extra funds...

I expected better results from Ohto Kettunen (3923) Strange France for me. Yeah, me too... Expected him at least in top 3 and not 6th. At least Dodemont took the time trail, so overal I am happy with TDF. As for the Vuelta, I am aiming for at least 1 stage win, the rest will be extra.

I'm very interested in the standings of Spain after Saturday's stage.
None of the first 3 stages are particularly decisive... a TTT, a stage starting with a climb that is then mostly flat, then a mostly flat stage ending with a climb.
But with only 3 stages this week, everyone has at least 5 extra points of fitness to spend with their leaders... either on a light attack or extra effort in the TTT. With two of them in the books, it feels like most people are waiting for Saturday.

So... Now we know who the contenders in the Vuelta are. Not going in this past stage pretty much eliminated that rider from the GC I think.
Pre-update fitness levels for top 15
1. Lacroux 18 10 08:43:04 Warner Bros Racing (80%) 2. Cardei 15 6 +27 Luptatorii din Rarau (59%) 3. Cammaert 11 0 +1:16 Tours.Cycle.Club (80%) 4. Forestieri 10 0 +1:23 Tours.Cycle.Club (80%) 5. Poiraud 8 2 +1:34 Nattramn (65% fitness training to 100% after update I assume) 6. Courrier 13 0 +1:37 The Mothers of Invention (80%) 7. Guivarch 8 0 +1:47 Tours.Cycle.Club (80%) 8. Timonen 12 0 +3:37 tyson (80%) 9. Thomas 6 0 +3:46 Pegasus Cycling (80%) 10. Fidatov 25 1 +6:04 Luptatorii din Rarau (55%) 11. Parasca 1 0 +6:51 Luptatorii din Rarau (80%) 12. Seabra 20 3 +9:29 Warner Bros Racing (80%) 13. Sorgatz 15 0 +9:55 The Mothers of Invention (80%) 14. Laloux 0 0 +9:56 Luptatorii din Rarau (80%) 15. Rivolta 11 0 +10:38 Nattramn (66%)
It's clear Lacroux will be the leader for my team from this point on, going for the Giro/Tour double. We'll see if Seabra can pick up a stage somewhere.

Not going in this past stage pretty much eliminated that rider from the GC I think.Yup, we can see if you want to win a big Tour you need to attack almost on every stage. Like we see i dont go for general standings, the random (luck) is too big and i dont want to play at fitness. In this way is posible that Tours.Cycle.Club to finish with 2-3 cyclists in top 5 at the final standings, i dont like this (because probably in this way will be on place 1 on our group) but i cant do anything to change this. from today i have only 50 cyclists probably in few days i will have 45 cyclists but is very difficult to let go to anyone. I'm a bit disapointed that Gael Lacroux win today in front of Cardei, because Cardei was played at 100% , have 94% before race {have save fitness} but the result is normal because Cardei have low sprint, Cardei was trained only for general standings , have very good skills in all skills without sprint. Maybe was better for me to play him at 100% in other kind of race. Even Spain could be won by a polivalent cyclist, normal for me was to be win by a super good mountain cyclist.
