We lost some of our more talkative division members to promotion, but we'll go ahead and bring the thread back. We've had some pretty even seasons. Last year the gap between 2nd and 7th was just 500 points
Here's the division:
1. Tours.Cycle.Club (9th in 2:2) 2. tyson (2nd in 4:2) 3. WC VroOom (3rd in 3:1) 4. Nattramn (5th in 3:1) 5. Luptatorii din Rarau (1st in 4:8) 6. Pegasus Cycling (1st in 4:6) 7. Snake Milano (6th in 3:1) 8. The Nikeboys (8th in 3:1) 9. Warner Bros Racing (4th in 3:1) 10. The Mothers of Invention (7th in 3:1) 11. De Stovebuzen (11th in 2:1) 12. ABP9 (2nd in 4:1)
I'll go ahead and let you know my team is pretty hill focused. I can sometimes make some noise in GT's... but only with the right parcours. At some point this season I'll probably switch my trainer and even out my riders with some flat and mountain... but that probably won't have a real impact until next season.
Nattramn is the Grand Tour guy. Fitness training gives him an edge and he uses it well.

Hey Kurtinsc,
What's your team? My team (Pegasus Cycling) promoted last season, so for this season I am hoping to NOT relegate and win some races. Currently my team focus lies on flat and hill. So you would be one of my opponents in the hill races...

I have all kinds of cyclists so ... i will find 5 for every races Probably i'm more flat then most of 3.1 teams. And i'm sure in downhill i have the best team. I want to train mountain very soon because i have an awesome cyclist who need some mountain training to be better then Malton but with this calendar i don't know what to do yet. By the way a lot of teams have trainer with fitness. ABP9 have a trainer with only 15 fitness and no other skills. Also i have among other skills of my trainer a 10 fitness but almost sure i will not use this season, i have too many cyclists and i dont need fitness. Maybe 1 cyclist could be play on fitness 1-2 times but not sure about this. Today we have 10 teams in first race. Stove have now 2 cyclists and ABP9 don't put yet a team.

So you would be one of my opponents in the hill races... My team is Warner Bros Racing. I was too lazy to change my set up for the first race after it switched from TT to a regular race. I wouldn't have won regardless... a bit too much flat for me to overcome with a last uphill section. But I was hoping more teams would be lazy like I was and the gap from the group to the leader wouldn't have been as big as it was.

I changed my setup and I'm pretty happy with the result (for my first race in Div 3:1)

Saturday's TDU stage will tell me a lot about what my prospects are for this season. Stages like the first for the TDU are hit and miss for me. The late hills give me a shot, but the long flats before it make it difficult to be in the front group when those hills come around. My riders have some flat... but not enough to hang with the pure-flat riders. The flat finishes after the late hill don't help either.
Batistoni gave it a good attempt, leading the race over the final hill... but was caught and outsprinted in the final section.
Sometimes I can win those... but tomorrow is much more in my comfort zone with 40km of hill rather then 15. A win there means I might have a shot at promotion. A loss... well I'll probably be fighting to stay in 3:1 again.

Aaaaand... it looks like another fight to avoid relegation year. I perhaps made a mistake in only having 4 attacks with Seabra rather then 5... might have shot myself in the foot a bit with that. Oh well.

Pffff, after the first week I am standing last (of the active teams). Let's hope the second week brings some more points, otherwise this season will be a struggle for keeping me out of relegation.

Woot, gained lots of points in the last race and managed to get the mountain jersey. I would be perfect if one my riders also won the race, but second and third isn't that bad.

what a division 1. Debever 30 5 11:55:24 [Time jersey] Nattramn 2. Janmart 6 0 +49 Tours.Cycle.Club 3. Mini 5 1 +49 Tours.Cycle.Club 4. Frenay 4 0 +49 Luptatorii din Rarau 5. Thomas 23 3 +2:07 Pegasus Cycling we have 3 races but Janmart, Mini and Frenay finish in the same time I'm curios if Debever was played at fitness this week, he win 2 races in the same tour for me look impossible in this group. The good thing is that today races was win at sprint so sprint count too. The bad thing for me is that Frenay don't win today race so he have low skills for this division / is young. With some good luck Lampreia could win mountain jersey, it was so close. Like i supposed, even i have a more flat team then yours, i don't have chances in this tour at points jersey.

Gust van Schip (4912) from Dubai was play at fitness by Natram 63-98% but i think will not count also on Vuelta a Andalucia Lenz Jungbluth (11857) 64-99% and Brahim Poiraud (7605) from 64 to 99% who is not on a tour who is charge. Maybe he will play for Algarve ------- why fitness is not so important? see this Tour Down Under 1. Hobai 12 6 09:14:29 [Time jersey] Tours.Cycle.Club 2. Fidatov 20 1 +1:34 Luptatorii din Rarau 3. Poiraud 24 3 +2:23 Nattramn 4. Seabra 13 8 +2:28 [Mountain jersey] Warner Bros Racing 5. Teugels 11 0 +2:35 The Nikeboys 6. Batistoni 8 5 +2:42 Warner Bros Racing Tour of Sain Luis 1. Lampreia 13 6 +3:27 Luptatorii din Rarau all other cyclists i'm almost sure they was not play at fitness. Ok Natram have some points but his cyclists will lose a lot. When he will want to sell he will receive few money. I see for myself ... i start to train TT to late and now my TT of my cyclists is low (but of course all other skills are more trained) Natramm have at lest 10 cyclists 20-22 years who will not win points. i think he will win points only with players +26 years

how was last week/how will be this week?
For me an unexpected victory of Parasca (on first mountain stage of the season) and un expected place 2 for Messen on sprint stage, i hoped for place 1 but it wasnot to be.
Overall very good first 2 weeks.
Hoping for a win this week.
Till now i dont put yet the tactic for Algarve not knowing on what kind of players to play.
