No topic yet?! Well, I opened one to say I don't expect anything this season. Seems like every single race is for flat or flat+hill cyclists I don't have one with those skills. Let's hope I can win a TTT this season because I know there are better cyclists than mine for ITT's Who will be the champion this year? Probably not Lions again because I think his team was only very good in mountains? So maybe PAN?

Probably a flat team. This season is almost only flat When i see the number of km it looks ok, but when i see the calendar , i almost don't know where to play my mountain cyclists. Even Italy is for flat teams (maybe not general standings though) This season was very good for Evcont or Petrolistul but they are now on div 2 Good luck this season Quatannens !

Hi, I am the manager of Schizmano and one of the new guys here.
I hope to lose some of the zero's behind my name in the division standing this season, and if I can do that while involved in the fight against relegation at the end of the season I will consider my first season in 1.1 as a succes.
Good luck to you all

It will probably between PAN and Franconia, perhaps Rats. I disagree. I'm quite sure I'll fight for not relegating. Good luck to all of you. Rats div.1 season 7 Rats div.1 season 8

Rats div.1 season 7 Rats div.1 season 8 Why do you think that? Last 2 seasons tou were 4th, with a huge gap to the relegation spots. This year, the calendar is mor for the flat/hill riders, not for the mountain goats. You proved to have great riders for that! Just like Maxz and Seberla. So why do you think you will have to fight for relegation?

Just like Maxz and Seberla. So why do you think you will have to fight for relegation? Becouse this year is not for flat/hill riders but only for falt riders. There are a few "multiskill" races and all the other have so much flat that supressid other terrains. I think this year'll be one skill dominate (flat) like it was for mountain during first seasons. In season 6-7-8 mountain was still the "tie-breaker" but you have to train different skills to be able to compete all the season. By the way, this is my personal opinion and I'm not comlpaining about the calendar. I think this is not my year and my target is to stay in the division... Maybe next season calendar'll suit better my team development. I think the 3 top team are Franconia, PAN and De Droeftoeters (not in this order ) Let's see and have fun ;9 Rats div.1 season 7 Rats div.1 season 8

I'm quite sure next season I'll be in second division again I have no idea where I can get some points. No mountain stages, and the few ones will be dominated by better cyclists then mine I think there are some other managers thinking the same, wonder how many are afraid of relegating

I was so happy to see I scored some points, but I'm still last in standings What is actually the skills needed for a race like this? Flat, sprint and TT? But which combination? I see my cyclist can't follow at all, so I think 13+ flat, 7+ sprint and 7+ TT? Or should the training be spread otherwise?

I guess San Brunone will score enough points everywhere to stay in. And probably the Lions wll win just about enough points in the few mountain stages. All others will be shivering with fear I guess...

Not if I forget to sign up for 3 day flat Tours... Bit of a false start, shame. Would have been a nice race for my team.
Good luck this season gents.

For me it was a great start with the win by Waetershoot! Well, there are really a lot flat and hilly parts in the calendar. I have no very good flat riders, but many allround riders, so can live with it. My goal is top 3 and to win as many white jerseys as possible.
Have a nice season!
