Heylighen (Evcont) - Ceulenaere (BeterLaatDanNooit) 1-1 I hoped to win today but this time Heylighen beat Ceuleanere in the sprint. His revanche for losing the sprint in Tour de San Luis stage 2 ? Joachim, your team is really strong today: 3 cyclist in top 10.

This relatively flat week was a good week for Evcont. With 4 wins this week he is the best in the week ranking and he takes over the first place. The other two races were won by Nightbiker and Forza17. If we look at the standings so far we see that place 1 & 2 have a gap with the rest. Between the other teams we see some smaller gaps between place 4 and 5, place 5 and 6 and place 8 and 9. However these gaps are small and there are still a lot of races to go (with different terrain profile compared to the races so far). So there will probably change a lot.

Hi All,
First, sorry i did not say anything until now, it has been a crazy period professionally speaking and my time was really limited. Hi to all of you my team cycled before, especially Chakra and Joachim from my first season in div.2. After a few seasons, is interesting to be together again.
First of all, thanks heppie for your great weekly work, it is very interesting to follow.
I have no objective this season, appart from staying financially healthy. It looks like i took some bad decisions last season (to sell part of my flat cyclists), looking at this season. Still, they were old or not performing well enough.
I still consider myself a flat team, i have no expectancies from the mountains, even if my team is better balanced compared to the past.
My experience in the first division was pretty bad, i had higher hopes compared with what happened. For me, it was totally unexpected, and adding the fact i didn't have much time, it was a disaster. For the moment, the team is a little bit in reconstruction and finding a way to be competitive in the future in the first division. Which i hope to be in two-three seasons from now. This is why i have no objectives for this season, the only plus in promoting would be good money for nothing (from supporters).

Great race from puscasu today, and very big time gaps. My 75% and 80% attack even lost 10 minutes. The peloton is lost for the final standing

Puscasu is not the monster he used to be. I had bad planning on training, therefore he is still somehow behind with important skills. Still he, is one of the best in my squad, and i have great expectancies from him. I think he won the division award when we have been together in the same division, in the past. I am proud to still have 5 of the original 12 cyclists in my team: Puscasu, Stanga, Bratiano, Filipescu and Bochinsky. I started with them and they are still here. One of the accomplished objectives was to get them to the first division to compete there .

Nearly two in a row for me, but van Quaquebeke loses his advantage of 12 seconds in the last downhill stretch and then (a bit surprising to me) also the sprint. However I'm happy with the first point and mountain jersey this season for my team .

I didn't check the race, Brusch has a low downhill skill, his sprint is reasonable. I didn't really expect him to win the race (he does not have a history of winning), but i hoped he'd get a few good points. Therefore, i am pretty pleased with his result today.

Welcome back on the forum I would say. For me it's my second appearance in 2:2 and it seems it will not be for long. I missed tactics in the first weeks due to a holiday. It would have been a good excuse for the poor results. But it seems that this Div is tough. My team misses some flat skills. (and hill, and mountain, and....) Brusch did indeed very well. Congratz. I'm just hoping all the cyclists of the other teams get a lot of flats and falls, so I can collect some points and get out of the red zone. Nevertheless, I'm sure that after this season, one day I'll be back again.

I just stopped fighting at some point and then, three weeks before the end i felt that i have some chances to actually fight not to relegate. In the end, it was too late. Therefore try your chances, fight for every point, improve your team and you'll have your chance to stay in this division. Real mountains didn't start yet. True, this season there is more flat compared with most of the seasons, at least untill now. I felt i had a disastrous first week, but now i just had two great weeks, obtaining victories i didn't even hope for, Even today, i didn't pay attention that there are four races in Tirreno, so i was really surprise at the beginning of the week. I just bet for today on the one ciclyst with a lot of fitness, and it did end more than well. Totally unexpected, and now i'm really thrilled with the result. Ofcourse i lost the first place in time, but financially is even better, as i don't have to pay a pretty big bonus.

Don't misunderstand me, negru. I won't give up. I know there are some pretty races to come. And 180 points behind is much, but can quickly be forgotten. First weeks I was on holiday and did not have any back-up files. So it was hard to follow the game. And being on holiday I did not have much time, nor intrest to play the game. After this week I hope to rearrange my team settings and hopefully I can take some points. Winning will be hard, your team is too strong. And there are other teams too that are very strong in flat races. Just keep hoping and racing. My team is prepared to fight for the last drop of sweat, tears and blood.

Thanks! heppie. 27 point closer to the 8th place. 2nd win. I was hoping for a victory and Brouillet succeeded. Tuesday is mainly flat. So big disaster then. But who knows.
