Final GC:
1. Goorts 25 15 21:34:58 Warner Bros Racing 2. Ziegler 6 0 +3:04 SeMTeX 3. Pettini 20 20 +4:15 Nattramn 4. Shahu 10 7 +5:07 PK Cycling Team 5. de Waal 10 1 +6:47 ALESANA 6. Cariello 3 0 +7:37 Snake Milano 7. Gherea 7 0 +9:05 WC VroOom 8. Brouillet 14 9 +9:36 ALESANA 9. Dinslage 3 0 +9:50 Sforsato 10. Cerato 4 3 +10:03 The Mothers of Invention
Goorts takes points, Pettini takes mountans, Cimino takes youth.
I felt good about winning the stage because of the long early hill opening things up. Goorts has low weight and a balanced skillset and can usually hold on in the mountains... he just can't attack in them that well. I didn't expect the overall win though... that was a nice bonus.

No, dont think so. Certainly not today. Hills will kill me:-) i expect warner bros here. I really need to start working on my hill stats, or i will be stuck in this division forever. Not that i dont like you guys:-) tomorrow is a gamble. Stage will end with a sprint, and i have no idea how good you guys are at that. We will see.

While there are a fair amount of hills in the race, there isn't an early hill attack point. My more balanced guys were already used up so need to recover, and the profile isn't built for my "pure" hill guys. I went with a B-squad today.

So did I. Even a C-squad. But with one guy going for victory. He came in second. Took some cash and took some points. But it still remains excited. Anyone can win a stage and everyone has cyclists in the recovery. With the flat-sprint stage we'll know who's got the best sprinters or at least the fittest. Good luck. I'll need it.

Thks! Yippeeh!! Hmm VroOompie has some mountains too...
So far so good. The single race will be something else. Nearly no fit cyclists left in my team. And those who are fit, are better in next week races.

And those who are fit, are better in next week races. Yeah... the fitness for this stretch is a little odd. After the first week, (once the race numbers were fixed for everything) I sort of started with the team I wanted for the Giro and worked my way back. My Giro team is most of my hill/mountain cross trained (I feel good about the amount of hills in the race). But because of that, I probably didn't maximize my riders in terms of results for other races. I did for Catalunya (which had 3 of my Giro squad and netted me a GC win). I stuck Seabra in P-N (another GC win). I've got lots of holes in my lineups for many of the other races, particularly the 1-day ones. Still have to figure out my other GT teams and work back from there.
