took a day off, made me much wiser. I still have to figure out who are the strong riders/teams :-)

Damn, WB won with Seabra. Loustau did a good job. I hoped he would end 1st, but indeed with Seabra you never know. Great win WB! So the batlle for 4th place in the Div starts with sforsato. Meanwhile trying to keep off MOI, evild and the snakes. Camm of Team Fleck has a lot of potential to end high in Nice, but Callens will make an effort to win the first stage for my team.
As was last season this one will be and is already exciting too.

Wasn't sure if there was quite enough hill for Seabra to pull off a win, but glad it worked out.
I thought he might be vulnerable to a flat/mountain dual-skilled rider shooting for the stage as there wasn't an early hill section for him to distance someone like that. With his balance, a lot of time there are superior flat/mountain guys and he needs the hills to get a win.

Thks. Good job for WB too. 2 jerseys at once. As promised Callens went for the stage win. And he won the mountain jersey as a bonus too. I never hoped to be 2nd in the Div ranking already. i knew I would beat sforsato for 4th place and even hoped to pass PK. Little gaps in the Div ranking now, but still lot of races to go. Remarkable is the prestation of The Nikeboys. No wins, no jerseys but leading the pack of our Div. Nr Ploeg GR TT PT BT Punten 1. The Nikeboys 0 0 0 0 461 2. ALESANA 1 0 0 1 423 3. SeMTeX 1 1 0 1 411 4. PK Cycling Team 1 0 0 0 299 5. Warner Bros Racing 1 1 1 0 264 6. WC VroOom 2 0 0 0 224 7. Sforsato 1 0 0 0 210 8. Snake Milano 0 0 0 0 158 9. The Mothers of Invention 1 0 1 0 153 10. Team Fleck 0 0 0 0 43 11. Nattramn 0 0 0 0 37 12. Team Berserk 0 0 0 0 0 May be this situation gives evild an idea of the strong teams. Beware! It's not necessarely the top 3. It ain't over until the F....

Still way, way, way too early to draw any conclusions.
My team has to get some points now because we'll hit stretches dominated by races without varied terrain... either mountain focused only or flat focused only stages and I'll fall back. Early season last year I was sitting around 4th and ended up in 8th.
After this season I might finally train some mountain so maybe two seasons from now I might be able to get some points in that type of stage. Don't know if I'll ever be really competitive in flat stages. I'm not even sure what skills would be needed to make noise in the pancake stages... for me those are places I just rest my team (unless there's a strategically placed hill for me to use for an attack).

Of course it's still way too early to draw any conclusion of the actual ranking. A definitive situation will only be clear at the end of the season. I'm just giving a overview of the actual situation. It's just fun to be in a competitive Div where the ranking switches after every stage, every tour... Always gessing what tactics the opponents will use, looking out for the tough cyclists (as Seabra, Lehmann, Lebret...) the tough teams... That is what it makes fun to me. For this weekend I hope for another two wins.

Callens took off very quick in the stage, never was able to close the gap with VDW. Nice win chakra. As you guys probably already noticed, hill is not my favorite part:-) I wonder where i would be in the classification if i was able to participate in the tour down under. Anyway, nikeboys is a very decent team. Scores everywhere every time.

For the points jersey there is only Van Lingen who coul be a threath, but I don't see him making points in the ITT. The mountain jersey is already defined. You'll remain 2nd. A pity you did not win the last points. He'll remain in the hands of Batistoni and his WB-team mates. Yellow jersey... Seems hard to catch up 3 minutes in just 10 km. If he loses that much I'll let him race with my grandmother next time. And what about VroOompie!!! 2 stages in Tirreno and 1 in Paris-Nice. He's evil!! Congratz man. And you beat me with 1 point today. But what tomorrow? I'll be facing a major difference in points. You'll be first in the Div tomorrow. (again)

Thnx, i think my team is stronger then i thought. Im happy with my start in 3rd, cant complain.
Negutesco will win. I dont see where he will lose 3mns. I have no clue about the tt skills in this division, but i dont see it happen. I think all jerseys are decided. In fact how many points do you gain by winning a tt? I always thought 0 to be honest:-)

regular amount of points. 60 for victory in a tour, single race 100. You're not planning to win I hope?

He's 96kg and has a mountain score of 2. But with mountain sprints at the top of hill sections rather then mountains... he's in his element.

I'm guessing losing nearly 3 minutes would be impossible even if his TT skill was 0 and the other rider was 15. We're talking about 10km here. I'm guessing the distance between first and last tomorrow in the TTwill be about 2 minutes. The 38 km ITT at the end of the vuelta only had a 12 minute difference from first to last.
