This time I hope a season without changes or problems. With 24 % downhill km, it will be again tough for me to promote. But if possible I will go for promotion this season. But I guess it's a bit too soon to predict the new season. But I remember a few names: Diamond, Lebret, Winaud, Sorgatz, Jacksens, Cerato, Brouillet, Callens... All good riders who won brilliantly stages. I'm sure it will be again excited, close and yes a real batle again. Let's hope the new calender will be made official real soon. I hunger to start and kick some ... ... pedals ?

Well, while we don't know who the new teams are in the division yet, I'll go ahead and introduce my team.
I run Warner Bros Racing. My team is trained to be balanced, but has more hill training then a lot of other teams seem to have. I'm generally not that competitive in the GC's of races and compete more for stages... but I did win the GC of the first race this past year (Oman, a nice race that ended with a stage having 86km of hill) and was in the mix for the Vuelta (which had a lot of nice hill attack points).
I hope to do some damage in the U21 races this upcoming season as my best guys are aging up to 20 this off-season. Probably going to be another tough fight to avoid relegation.

Thks vuile. I wish you all the best in 2nd Div. And I'm sure that you won't have to fight for a relegation position. So I hope to meet you again in season 9 in 2nd Div.

Shame Beserk is without an owner. On the bright side, that means only 3 teams with actual owners will relegate... so that's a plus.
Also good to see another US team in the list. That's two seasons in a row after not having another US team for the first 6.

Welcome to the "new' teams and hello to the "old" ones. As I made an overview of our Special 3:1 Div, I notice the teams are especially Belgian: 7 teams from Belgium (The MOI, ALESANA, SeMTeX, WC VRoOoM, The Nikeboys, Sforsato, Team Berserk (BOT)) 2 teams from USA (WB Racing and Team Fleck) 1 team from France ((Nattramn) 1 team from Poland (PK Cycling) 1 team from Italy (Snake Milano) Relegated season 7 both from 2:2The Nikeboys 10th Berserk 12th and has no manager any more Promoted season 7Nattramn from 4:7 2nd WC Broom from 4:8 2nd Sforsato from 4:5 1st Team Fleck from 4:1 1st Our old promoted teams, De Scheefspuiters (vuile) and Team buckeyes are both cycling in 2:2 now. So with a team without manager it must be difficult to be the last one in a race. From now on it is waiting for the calender to start the game. Good luck to you all!!

The calender is online! Yeah!! Only 2,5 weeks before start...and seems there are some troubles/problems with the number of the races in a Tour? Still a few weeks to go. How to survive 2 updates without income from any race? With only the sponsorship and the sups will be tough for some teams. I hope there will be a solution for this little issue.

Not anymore... start is now WEDNESDAY (this week). The first couple of races are fixed with the entries... seems to be related to starting the race with race number 1. The rest of the season is not fixed though... some you can sign up for, others not. Looking at the GT's this year... seems like the Vuelta is geared toward mountains while the Giro is more toward hills. That's the reverse of how it is most years. I really like this year's Giro route. I never win GT's, but I see 3-4 stages I can compete in and could perhaps see a GC podium.

Thks, I'm in the game! Wondering what the new teams will do, sure they aren't rookies any more. And what will RC and kurtinsc do. Damn, tough teams. It'll be hard to beat them. I'm ready for the first two weeks, but I still need to examine the entire calender.
Legs shaved, bikes are ready, cyclists are fit and trained well...so let's rock and roll!

Well, we're in pretty good shape. Despite the late change to the start date, we've got 10 of 11 teams signed up for the first race. We're just missing WC Vrooom. Hopefully he logs in again before the sim.
