With the new race engine, it is quite important for a team manager to know what the terrain is on which you will place an attack or on which there are intermediate or final sprints. Is it hill or mountain, flat or downhill ?? This info is in most cases not so visible in the current raceprofile ! We are working on a solution for this. In the mean time, I have made an overview of all the races from this season in an excel file. This file contains for each race the terrain, distance, slope per part ! You can download this file from : www.peloton-game.com/divisions/World/RaceProfiles/SE05/Enjoy

At least in Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne the last section is missing. Ik doublechecked Kuurne and the last part is the 5km flat with slope -1%. According to me this is correct and present in the xls file Why did you think it was missing ?

According to me this is correct and present in the xls file Why did you think it was missing ? Because in my file it is missing. But perhaps I still had the very first faulty version cached when I tried to download the 2nd version. Sorry for the inconvenience! Edit: I can confirm that the current version is a different one than that one that I had on my hard disk.

Oh no! Please tell me that it's only my distorted perception of reality! In peloton-game.net/race2details.aspx?id=442&division_id=198&season=5 the stage Cuernavaca - Toluca is listed as: Flat 63 Hill 85 Mountain 10Downhill 57 But the XML file from the current and most recent (I doublechecked it!) RaceProfiles.xls reads: in line 352: 2/2/2013 Sa Cuernavaca - Toluca Vuelta Mexico mountain 6 7 N N N in line 354: 2/2/2013 Sa Cuernavaca - Toluca Vuelta Mexico mountain 7 8 N Y Y in line 358: 2/2/2013 Sa Cuernavaca - Toluca Vuelta Mexico mountain 8 7 N Y Y in line 365: 2/2/2013 Sa Cuernavaca - Toluca Vuelta Mexico mountain 10 9 N Y Y in line 368: 2/2/2013 Sa Cuernavaca - Toluca Vuelta Mexico mountain 20 7 N Y Y that would be 51 km of mountain! Which one is to trust? Or where is my fault?

Which one is to trust? Or where is my fault? Very strange, it seems like the mountain parts below 9% slope is counted as hill !! I took another race to check this, but there it was ok ! Do you have other examples ?? I have to double check with the DB data, maybe my file is wrong ... Which I doubt, because I only read and do not "generate" keywords as "hill" ...

I made 2 version of the race Cuernavaca - Toluca , just looks like you put a different version of the race in the overview (version 2) then that of the calendar (Version 1) :

Ah, great !! That will be the problem !! So I guess it is the not-pimped race (with the hills/mountain km as shown in the race calendar).

Well i'm kind of furious after today's race. Since most of my riders haven't enough hill to make a chance on winning the first two stages, i saved them for the last stage ... I downloaded the 'race profile overview' file to be sure i picked a nice attack spot for my climbers. In the file i found that attackspot 4 would be suitable for my riders, so i set the tactics, hoping me riders would do well in the race ... Today i checked the results, with the 'live-ticker', and when the peloton finally made it till the slope i get a major disappointment. The slope seems to be only 6% and categorized as hill, while it should have been 8% and mountain ... Off course, non of my riders managed to escape due to that bug... So i'm wondering why there is announced that there is a race profile overview if most slopes aren't even correct in the file It makes it even more difficult to make the right tactical choices then without it .. Now it's just soooo random :/
