Only two stages left. Mountain Jersey is lost. Due to the mountain stage where I forgot to set up tactics. Mathematically it's still possible. But I'm pretty sure Borrego will help Dinslage to prevent Roland to take the mountain jersey from Dinslage. So it's pretty useless to still go for it. Just trying now to keep a good ranking and bring my team further in front of joachim to stay on 6th place. Wondering what Quatta's tactics will be to perhaps take the time jersey... Good luck to all of you, may some have more luck than others.

I'm not so sure about the mountainjersey... Dinslage is empty, so he won't take any points. Borrego is my man for the general standings now, the other two had a stagewin which is good as well. I'm still on a 3th place though.

I'm still on a 3th place though. We both know it's just a matter of time until we exchange places in the division. I'm still fighting, as i always feel this is the way to play a game, but unfortunately i lost two stages in your favour. And the flat stage was also good. I still think that i had better results than expected in the Vuelta, taking in consideration the circumstances and that i have a flat based team. I was really happy that i could keep the second place for one more week. At least i can say i did my best. I lost too many point before TdF, i knew from the beginning that the end of the season doesn't suit me at all. But it is a nice, challenging season and i really enjoy it. Good luck in the remaining races!

I hope so You ended 2nd in a heavy mountain stage today with your flat-based team It was the least heavy stage in my opinion and i went 100%. So it makes sense. The realg big gap between us will appear only during and after the last tour. For that one i don't really have any chance to anything. I suppose that after Vuelta the gap won't be too big (i hope so at least).

Guess the points jersey and mountain jersey are made up in the Vuelta. Who's going to win the time jersey. De Wulf (EPO) or Colombo (PAN) or is Quatta's Borrego able to make a final putch? I am pretty satisfied with a stage win in Estella, a 4th and 6th place in final ranking. 2nd in points and 3rd in the mountains. (So far) And ending the Vuelta with a slightly advantage in division ranking on joachim. I have known better days, but worse too.

Yes, it will be an exciting stage tomorrow. It would be a miracle if the top-3 remains the same with such small time differences and such a long stage. I hope Borrego can at least go for 2nd place, certainly because he has a small fitness advantage. I'm going to set tactics for last races before I forget it

Good... I collected 4 falls and a flat today.... HP didn't help and tactics went to hell... anw joachim won using same tactics as mine... to beat puscasu.. without the fall maybe Gurule will be with Albusel who knows... btw -4 races to the line and nothing changed for me in the ranking...

no falls no flats. Pity Dorny and Ripanu didn't reach the finish in front of the peloton. Nice victory (and tactics) of joachim. Damn he won IMHO I think nothing will change in the rankings this final week. But who knows...

I'm happy with my third victory but I'm sure to end 7th this season. My results were bad when I was on holiday. Now that I'm back I tried an alternative strategy with a second attack on the end, because I lack sprint to win a peleton sprint and early attackers seems to have a difficult time at the moment.

I guess the prices between us are divided. It will be hard to get in front of me. I've got mountaineers and sprinters in this tour. Though they seem not to be able to get mountain nor sprint points. Nevertheless, next season back in the same group would be great!

The breakaway today didn't got much space because I had a helper at 100% with a nice mountainskill. It's visible in the stage result. The attackers only with a small advantage (compared to a lot of first stages with a lot of cyclists at 70%) and the peloton finishing wasn't that big either. Roquiny and Monbailleu were able to follow from my team. I hope this will help in good final standings

I see I'm 35th on the international ranking which means I would just stay in division 2 next season. I don't know if I have to be happy with that. That would mean a struggle against degradation next season. Maybe it would be better for me to go one season back to third division.

Don't forget that 3th division will become much harder as well. They try to make the differences between divisions smaller, so a division higher or lower shouldn't change that much as now. Today a nice stagewin, with a lot of advantage so Roquiny took every intermediate sprint. I think I will promote to first division, let's try to win a stage there
