Hi I was watching some divisions and I check that many 4 division don't have 20 teams, some have 17 other 18 and 19, Why ?
So I check some 5 div and is worse, its absurd to see divisions with only 1 human team and the rest bots created by the game, and others with all human teams that leave the game.
My suggestion is to pick up all active teams in div 5 and put then now in the 4 div before we loose then too because of the lack of competition and delete the division 5.
The game without the 5 div will be less heavy and run better.
I know taht is a hell of a job to do it but maybe there are some volunteers to help doing.
I reduce too the number of divisions 4 to 32 with 2 teams that get promotion, and in the 3 div only 4 teams relegated.
This way:
4- div 2 16- div 3 32- div 4
gives 1040 human spots, we are only 740 so still 300 free spots for new teams.
This is my suggestion to make the game better.
Sorry for my bad english and to write too much.

I think I have a better suggestions. As some of you know, I own a manager game and I had the same problem: there were a lot of bots in lower divisions and new users were losing interest very fast. How I solved it? Here's a copy/paste containing the announcement from the website:
This could be implemented here too. In my game there are 8 teams per division, so the numbers will have to change because here are 20 teams per division.

Besides the problem of filling up the divisions in a correct way, I think another problem is the strength of the new team.
If you put a new team in a division with already 10 active teams, which is the way we want it to be so this team is not left on its own, and 8 of these teams have already played for 1 season, the skills of the cyclists of these teams are double the skills of the new team.
This new team will start playing and end up at a 40th place in his first race. Not quite motivating. As a new player, you want to have success immediately in order to stay in the game and have fun.
But what if we would populate the new team with 12 cyclists having skills based on the average skill of every cyclist in the entire division !? So, for example, the average flat skill of every cyclist of every team in 4th division is calculated and based on this value, the new cyclists will get a flat skill within some boundaries of this average value (f.i. -20% / +20%, or any other distribution)
This way the new team would have an immediate impact in the game

I think that some thing must be done to avoid losing more managers.
The new teams with the average skill don't seems to me a good idea, and will give a lot of work. I prefer that new teams start with more money insted, so that way they can buy better riders. Now we can see in the market riders with skill 5/6/7 for a low price.
The idea of closing the 5 Div for me is good, that way the game will be faster.

Maybe division 5 don't need to be closed, but less open subdivisions and another style.
just fill up the first subdivision to the max (or half). when it's full, open the next subdivision and so on. so you then have maybe 20 subdivisions in division 5.
when a player stops with peloton, the team will be automaticly deleted from the subdivision and a new team will fill up the gap.
at the end, all teams who are still active in division 5 will be promoted.
this way the beginning players will get to learn the game with ACTIVE players. there will also be no ghost subdivisions.

If I calculated it right, I'm going down 1 division because of the international ranking. How does this ranking work, and will I earn less next season (sups, sponsering, etc..)?
In that would be then I can't agree with the new divisions.
I'm looking for the texts about this change on forum but can't seem to find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't know how it exactly works, but it would be logic if there would be some interpolation. So now division 1 has x incomes and division 4 only y incomes. With the new divisions division 1 should still get x incomes and the lowest y. The ones in between should follow the same curve as is the case now. It is possible you get a little bit more/less if they to it this way, but it won't be much.
