IP, very strange my 5 riders of Milan San Remo have 0% fitness after the race (even with 2 helpers at 70%) +1 in 3:8 also Cyclist FL HI MO DO SP TT ST BA XP LS HE WE AG FIC. in division 3.4 there are still no results for the first race of the tour of austria Sorry, but past races won't be simulated anymore. The goal of these races was not the results, but to test the postrace updates and general flow (submit tactics - simulation - post race update). The calendar for the remaining of the season will be generated tomorrow. The fitness thing has been taken care of (website hasn't been updated yet, though). I'll reset the fitness of all cyclists too. |

Calendar has been generated. Take care of the race dates, I still need to adjust these. Edit: and fitness too, of course. I've updated the race report again. I'm not noticing much improvement, to be honest, but at least the screen flickering when the race part changes is gone. I've also put the new cyclist history system in place. I still need to update the database tables though (can't access the db @ work  ), so you might get an error when accessing the cyclist history page. At the moment, the history records are the same as before, but I'll add more in the coming days, so that all race/tour results of a cyclists will be stored. I'll announce when this is done. |

It seems very hard to place a succesfull attack. In 3.8 I selected 2 cyslists on 100% and let them attack both on point 5.

Do tactics matter for TT's? (other then perhaps "save fitness")

No, there are no tactics for TT's and these are simulated in the same manner as today.
I'll modify the tactics page for TT's so that you only see the applicable tactics for such races.

when you change your effort, is it right that there are more flat tires and falls for the riders that have more effort? or is this coincidence? or a bug?
Because more effort should give an advantage, and al the riders i gave more effort had more falls and flat tires.

Feed back from update
1) Save fitness worked - although maybe too well, they rider i had with save fitness has still got 100% fitness after race, compare to 95% and 65% for other fitness levels I set
2) Liked hiding the winner!
3) Race report ran much much quicker, but wonder if it was because there were only 20 or so riders?
4) Race didn't really suit riders to test attacks / helpers, will look to test over next couple of races

yes, 70%, so effectively save fitness, saved 5% of fitness so he stayed with 100% fitness, i was just raising the question whether that's the intention, or whether it should save 3 / 4 % you've still got to cycle up some big hills even if you're soft pedalling!

No sim yet for 3:5? Did we have another large scale sim failure?
If so that two in 7 or 8 races simmed on the test site... the second stage of the tour we simmed in the first pass and LFW in this one.

At this moment only races for groups 1 and 2... also seems there are groups that either didn´t run first race.

The problem with the missing results is not a huge issue, just very annoying. The remaining races for today have been simulated. The simulation code goes through all divisions and reads the race that is supposed to run today. But for some reason, this works only 2 or 3 times, and then it halts the simulation. If I run the simulation again, the missing races are picked up and it works. So there's not really a bug, I think, but the simulation has to run multiple times (for some reason) before all races are done. I can easily fix it by setting the task to run multiple times, but for now I'm still experimenting with possible solutions so this isn't required. This is a beta test after all  (I'm updating the website/database for the cyclists/team history pages at the moment, so you might see some errors on these pages for a little while) |
