Congratz with your giro victory with Arnould. Great move by letting him ride on 80% the stage where I putted some extra effort and Ulrich lost time. I think Arnould would also lost time if he would have rided on 70%! I'm happy with my green jersy and some stage wins. New green jersy for Ulrich in TDF? ;-) My team is indeed doing very well last weeks, seems my strategy is finally paying of.

He's out untill the Eneco Tour or so ;D but it paid off. I'm planning to take Barbez (close to 5 flat) as my sprinter to the TdF and since there are more flatstages and intermediate sprints there as in the Giro i hope he can give Ulrich some good competition. 1st stage of the DL was promising, untill he had a flat tire.

A very good 2nd stage for us in the Dauphine today, as we place 4 of our riders in the top 6. More importantly, everybody else other than that group of 6 is left far behind, which means we have a very good chance of winning the overall jersey. As well the mountain jersey. And the youngster jersey. Up next tomorrow, Switzerland, which should be a great contest as we have almost full participation. Way to go, gang!

Good participation in the game, but a bit less in the forum. No post in the last few days... Maybe the upcoming Tour de France will bring back some excitement...

Enough excitement for me. My team is in realy good shape. Lot's of victories and hopefully more to come. Incridebily how good our division is alwayls doing in the statistics.
Tomorrow a new victory for Kingstown in the TTT ;-), I think i will finish second, for a mountain trainer i have some good not trained TT cyclist.
In the TDF I hope for one jersy and 3 stage victories.

Congrats on your win in the Tour de Suisse thorax, very impressive tactics. I thought Bonnaire would be toast after the 3rd stage and was surprised that he was able to stay with the other leaders today. Pretty happy with the results anyhow. A stage win, #2 overall and the mountain jersey for Gaudin, a completely unexpected green jersey for Tolomelli (now where did that come from???) For the TTT, I agree with you, I don't see how anybody can beat Kingstown. What sucks is that with the newest italian team, even with the 2 bots, we are again not likely to reach the 70% and get all the money. That is going to hurt us all in the long term, especially for the next seasons

I've been hardly online the last couple of days, so time to post again! Congratz at Thorax for a very impressive run lately...thumbs up! I feel like i'm a little in nowhereland. No chance against the top-3 of our division over a complete season, but strong enough to keep the rest of the teams behind me. The first stage in Swiss was very nice with a 1st and 2nd place and after it was over with the fun. Tomorrow in the TTT my line up is 3.0 on TT and about the same on flat. Hill is a little lower, but i expect that it must be enough to win. Agree with triplef that the new Italian team is a pain in the neck if he stays inactive and Leopard must have some good cyclists if he still manages to get decent results without a trainer. My goals for the Tour are stage wins (i hope 4 the same as in the Giro) and hopefully we can seriously compete against Ulrich for the green jersey with relatively a lot of flat. Standigs after Tour de Suisse: 1. Team Camargue 6 3 1 3 3120 2. Thorax 8 2 3 1 2663 3. Wisigoths 13th 8 2 0 3 2472 4. Kingstown 8 1 1 0 1666 5. kanikoerski 4 0 0 0 1231 6. Gouden Leeuwen 6 0 2 1 1008 7. Team Leopard-Trek 1 0 1 0 711 8. Team Nenne 0 0 0 0 45 9. de leutemakers 0 0 0 0 4 10. Australian Warlord 0 0 0 0 0 11. vaila racing team 0 0 0 0 0

Let's start a discussion about the youthscout. I have the money to buy a 10/10/10 but do you guys think it is profitable? The wage is already 45k ... . And you have 50% chance to pull a cyclist and even then lot of chance he sucks.

I have the money too right now, but haven't spent it. I really am sure it is worth it, it's a lot of money to spend for nothing sure in return. Plus I already have too many riders anyway, so I don't want to add any more !!!

I'm not sure yet about the YS and since i have other priorities with my money, i'm not planning to buy one this season. triplef: You can allways sell your YP's....especially when they're yung, you can get a lot of money for them. Btw....worldwide the 5th time at the TTT....not bad for a flattrainer....and my best TT-er is going to the TdF. Good thing btw that Nenne became a bot....right in time to have the 70% participation. Standings after Eindhoven TTT: 1. Team Camargue 6 3 1 3 3180 2. Thorax 8 2 3 1 2693 3. Wisigoths 13th 8 2 0 3 2492 4. Kingstown 9 1 1 0 1766 5. kanikoerski 4 0 0 0 1271 6. Gouden Leeuwen 6 0 2 1 1008 7. Team Leopard-Trek 1 0 1 0 711 8. Team Nenne 0 0 0 0 45 9. de leutemakers 0 0 0 0 4 10. Australian Warlord 0 0 0 0 0 11. vaila racing team 0 0 0 0 0

Yeah I know, but I have a very hard problem selling my riders, I get sentimental and too attached to them!!! Saw that, pretty good. On the other hand, there can't be that many TT trainers out there... Yes indeed!

Yeah I know, but I have a very hard problem selling my riders, I get sentimental and too attached to them!!! I can relate to that....actually i should sell Arnould (the Giro winner) but i can't....and i have a 19 year old 3-3-1 with reasonable secundaries, but he hardly scores any points....don't ask me why and with the current market i should have sold him too. Maybe later. True....although i got beaten quiet heavily in the ITT funrace by some TT trainers. Extreme long (224 km), but my best rider came in 4th. Would be nice to have some statistics about how many teams train the different skills, but that might be difficult with the multifunctional trainers around.

I wonder whether Gouden Leeuwen will participate in de TdF. He didn't in the Giro, but he's got 5 riders with 100% fitness now, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Truth be told, the Lions are an enigma to me.
He did very well in the first few races, was active on the transfer market and just sort of disappeared...
He still seems to be playing the game, but in a amateur sort of way.
Strange really...
