Those hills are killing Barbez.... not really smart of me to take him as my intermediate sprinter and to prevent the same scenario in the Tirreno i changed my tactics there. As far as the GC i really have no idea what to expect of the timedifferences....if the mountainguys can stay that close on flat terrain why can't we do the same during the mountainstage! The impact of a flat tire or a fall is still huge btw....you even end up behind botriders....without that kind of bad luck i hope that either Barbez or Knegt can finish top-3 in the GC.

Clover coureurs are in for the Tirreno, but still no sign of trappen and jouker and Agronomia didn't sign up either, so only 5 out of 8 human teams will start.

Congratz stenes! Barbez unfortunately had a flat tire which costed him a better position and despite of the 2 first great stages for my team we have no prize in any of the classifications. Points won in Paris-Nice: San Brunone: 306 Kingstown: 296 Cider Riders: 249 Agronomia Timisoara: 191 Lavezzi In Bicicletta: 54 jouker team: 2 Note: The points won in the 1st stage of the Tirreno are not included. These are the points won only in paris-Nice.

I am quite happy with our Paris - Nice performance. The first green jersey of the season is a perfect start, but it is a shame that Barbez fell on the final stage. Better to win with talent, not luck!
Our flatties gave the climbers a bit of a scare in the overall classification too, I think. Blaho and Labrec only ended 37 and 42 seconds behind the two leading climbers. :-)

Congratz to you too Cider....even without the problems Barbez had, Blaho would have won the green jersey, but it would have given Barbez probably a 3rd place in the GC.
Obviously we won not enough time on the flat stages to get rid of the mountain guys. Let's see what the T-A will bring tomorrow and also there an exciting battle for green.
Maybe i should had given my best flat riders 95% effort to make the gap bigger, but that's water under the bridge now. Hopefully they make up for it in the 1-day races that are coming soon.

The last stage gave me mixed feelings....1st, 2nd and 3rd was a great result, but losing the GC , youngster- and mountainjersey wasn't. Happy with winning the pointsclassification Congratz at Lavezzi for winning the Tirrenico. Standings after Tirreno-Adriatico: 1. Kingstown 4 0 1 0 747 (+451) 2. San Brunone 2 1 0 0 506 (+200) 3. Lavezzi In Bicicletta 0 1 0 1 355 (+301) 4. Cider Riders 0 0 1 0 348 (+99) 5. Agronomia Timisoara 0 0 0 1 191 6. Clover coureurs 0 0 0 0 47 (+47) 7. jouker team 0 0 0 0 2

We are hoping to make back some points in the Vuelta al Pais Vasco, after a dissapointing Tirreno-Adriatico. Shane Pucella is our main yellow jersey contender. He has placed high up in tours in the past, but has never reached the podium in a tour, or even a one-day race, so we don't expect too much. Gerbs however, will be hoping for another chance at taking the green jersey. His chances at T-A were ruined with a fall on the first stage, so I think he is hungry for bacon (and jerseys )

Pais Vasco has a very low priority for me, since i don't have the riders to achieve enything there. Any point i can grab there i consider a bonus and we'll focus on the 1-day classics.
