This is the second time in BE-4-13 a new team replaces a team without a manager during a tour. (Volta a Catalunya) Can this not be undone in the future? I think a team which has started a race (tour) should finish that tour before another team can replace it.
This way the game ain't funny. Our income is allready so little.
I hope that the new engine will consider this idea, together with the equal chances for every team? (see België-statistieken 4de Div) Sorry for the non-dutch speaking managers. Briefly it says that the teams should be divided equally over all the series, so every team has the same percentage of chance (sorry for my english) for promotion. Now there are series with 3 or even 1 active team. So 100% certainty to promote to a higher Div, without having any chance to perform well in the upper Div. Other series have +15 active teams, percentage for promotion is much lower. It might even be possible that some teams are allready trying to promote several seasons but because teams of the higher Div were sacked and 'promoted' to a lower Div win (almost) everything. Newcomers should enter the lowest Division with the less number of teams.

In Romania we have this problem also, only 3.1 is full, in 3.2 are 2 teams active (from 2 days are 4), and on 3.3 and so on 0 team. In 3.1 is more difiicult to promote then in div 2

I'm working on improving the database query, so that new teams join the division with the most bots. Apparantly, it's a little bit more difficult than I thought it would be But bots being replaced during tours is not something that can be avoided. Otherwise there would be too many periods where new teams don't replace bots, but join empty divisions, and we'll end up with even more bots. For the prize money of the jerseys it also doesn't matter, because the amount of cyclists when the tour started is used. So there's not really a problem there.

I'm sure you will handle the problem of the new teams entering the series with the most bots. Perhaps it will not be solved this season, but I do hope the problem will be next season. (And I'm sure there are other teams who do too) It's not the problem that bot team are replaced during a tour. The problem is that bots should not be replaced by new active teams when they are subscribed in a tour. There are bot teams who are not racing, they can be replaced. About the award for the jerseys I did not know that the award is based on the number of racers subscribed for the first race of the tour. Just checked it and you are right about that. (How dare I doubt about it )

The assignment of new teams in the lowest divisions has been changed. From now on, the teams will be placed in the division with the most bots, so that in time all divisions will have an equal amount of bots and actual players. Of course, at the end of the season, the relegated bots from the higher divisions will still move to a random division. But I don't think that will make such a big difference. Hopefully it will motivate players a bit more now to continue playing

This is wonderfull news. In the future (offcourse it still will takes some time) all the teams in the lowest division will have equal chances to promote to 3rd division.
Let's hope the new teams will be active teams.
Thks IP.
