probably it has something to do with races with short climbs if you look to today's race profile all climbs are very short so the 3 kms per mountain almost covers all the mountain-kms ... (the race of wednesday also had mostly short climbs and I'm stil convinced that one has the same problem, only a bit less obvious (3 mountainsprints against 4 today) !

Another noticeable thing: check the exact finishing times. Since as far as I know riders do NOT chose to bike in groups like in reality, it's a bit odd that -with all decimals and sub-factors playing a role, so many runners finish in the exact same time, isn't it? The times are grouped, but per time there are a couple with the exact same result, with the exception of the worst runners:
Since Padrino claims many factors are of importance, this seems incorrect to me as well. I don't believe all these runners have similar stats and even if they do, some of them fell and got flats.
Unless they DO somehow ride in peloton (groups), but I don't believe that since it would make the race result calculations require a very high AI level.
