"The moment a cheater is discovered, his/her team will be deleted immediately. No warnings are given, no mails are sent."
Right ! Last week, I checked the transfertlist of *a certain team*, and there was a match with *another team*, same IP-adress. I send a mail for cheating, and guess what: nothing happened.
It's obvious the big fishes (*another team* is 1:1) are protected. I'm only a small player in Division 5, but I'm 100% sure if I create a second account, I get kicked out immediatly !
Really cheap of the directors here.
MOD edit : Direct accusations of cheating are not allowed on the forum !!!

"The moment a cheater is discovered, his/her team will be deleted immediately. No warnings are given, no mails are sent." Right ! Last week, I checked the transfertlist of *a certain team*, and there was a match with *another team*, same IP-adress. I send a mail for cheating, and guess what: nothing happened. It's obvious the big fishes ( *the other team plays in the higher divisions*) are protected. I'm only a small player in Division 5, but I'm 100% sure if I create a second account, I get kicked out immediatly ! Really cheap of the directors here. MOD edit : Direct accusations of cheating are not allowed on the forum !!!By now you are probably thinking I am doing this to protect this big fish, but there is no exception frmo my part, every direct accusation will be removed. The in game tool should ALWAYS be used for matters like this. Secondly I would like to add that : - taking a sanction takes proper investigation and time please give the GM the time to take his conclusions in all objectivity - the same IP-adress alone is not absolute proof that two teams have the same owner (maybe they are member of the same family, go to the same school, work for the same enterprise ...) [edit: I know this is not the case here, but I bring it up any way] - it is my understanding that transactions between teams with the same IP-adress are allowed if the price is normal (meaning close to the average market price or a clear result of a bid war). - not all sanctions are visible to others, f.i. a financial penalty is only known to the parties involved Nevertheless it is only the GM (Nikeboy) who can decide and I put all my trust in him. (edit: fixed some language errors)

Thx 4 de replay Schizmano, but I still have my doubts. The rules are clear: u can manage only one team, and to me, it looks like this big fish manage 2 teams. This is abnormal. But ... you have a good explication and strong arguments, even that strong that "my brother" will make an account too on Peloton. Let's see how long it will take before "my brothers" team will be removed. More and more, I start thinking most players have 2 or more accounts, especially when you see new players in division 6 IMMEDIATLY making the right tactic choices about training, transferts ... For me, it took a few weeks, maybe even months to understand the best way of tactics, becaus all was new.
O well ... we'll see what happens, but I think there at the top, it are all friends, so they'll never delete this big fish. Greets.

"Your brother" can make an account without a problem , just send a pm to the GM, Nikeboy to report yourselfs as operating from the same IP-adress. And like I explained do not make irregular or suspicous transfers between the teams (i o w pay normal marketprices). I remember that in Peloton v1 a whole bunch of (top) teams in the Belgian Division where banned at once one time , I see no reason why the same can not happen in v2 when a big fraud is discovered. Although back then it was more a question of black or white , the current GM often chooses to just remove the (financial) benefits that where created by irregular transfers. Ofcourse there are a lot of friends and acquaintances on peloton and a lot of the time they benefit from eachothers knowledge, but don't be mistaking most teams are fierce competitors !

There are a fair number of "restarts" in this game (which is acceptable). The players who make a mistake with their initial team and after a month or so of play time decide that they screwed up too bad and start over.
I nearly did that with my team back in the beginning of season 1. Back then, the engine treated single skill mountain and flat trainers the best... and I took a hill trainer. After 3 weeks, I thought seriously about re-starting but in the end decided not to.
That doesn't impact your initial example of course which should be looked at. Matching IP's need to be looked at. But the new players making right choices... that can in fact be because it's a player who'd played a few weeks but abandoned their old team and started over.

bidding on your own cyclists is not considered as cheating on peloton (if he buys it back he loses some money (the transferfee) and the mood of the cyclist drops BTW).

Well I myself never thought of it as a problem, and I am sure most of the people here agree.
It is not like bids are anonymous on peloton (cause then I would agree)
But however it had been decided long time ago that this was allowed (but discouraged by means of a transferfee) so the case above is NOT cheating at the moment.
But for the GM maybe the question is important enough to start a poll about it on the site !?
I know one thing if this gets prohibited I would be asking the implementation of a "withdraw" button (everybody can make a mistake wrong cyclist, wrong price ... )

For me yes, i think that is a issue, for example, i start bidding in 60000 ish, and when realize that i was outbidding the owner of the cyclist its around 100000ish, i think that must be considered cheating... and destroy the spirit of sportmanship... this is only a game, that serve us the purpose of fun and entraitnment, and "this wises guys" destroy all the fun.

we've had these discussions a very long time ago Peloton has a set of rules. One of the rules is that you can bid on your own player. There is a fee to pay if you do so, there is also a mood drop.
So there is nothing wrong with bidding on your own cyclist. End of story so stop wyning about it.
