Simple, make it so that if you log into the main site, you automaticaly log into the forum. I don't know if this is much work, but it'd be much appreciated.
Thanks, SeanCages

I think this is difficult because the forum and the main site are independent...

If you login you have the option to remember yourself. I did and now I'm always logged in when I enter the forum.

Well, I still think the forum needs a major overhaul, because honestly, it looks like shit and is very uninviting. And having to log in twice is just a pain in the butt. Call me lazy, but I also hate to have to turn on both my tv and my digicorder to watch the telly. There is this game called FootballIdentity, it has a seperate very standard forum, much like this one, but Userpicture and Avatarpicture and logins are synchronized. So log in on the forum, and bam! you're logged in to the website.
I suppose this can wait until the RE has been fine-tuned. But look at hattrick, there is 30 000 people online every single second of the day. How many of those do you think actually are there to manage their teams? 20k? Maybe. I for one, the only reason I'm still on hattrick is for the forum. Last time I checked my teams results would be about 4 months ago.
The forum is the power of a game. Don't forget. The community is what keeps people going for it. It's fun to be the best in the game, it's even more fun to have a very active community and actually being able to rub it in someones face you are the best of the game, while still remain friends or friendly.

Agreed with Sean and the name FootballIdentity (and especially the forum) brings back good memories. The forum should be the heart of the game while in peloton there are relativelily only a few users that post here.

I think this is difficult because the forum and the main site are independent... It's imposible. But, IP could make a forum inside the game like Hattrick has. But this way the posts/topics from here will be lost and IP will have to make the forum script from scratch or modify an open-source forum script.

Maybe he can contract a user to do it for him. There has to be someone with the knowledge and the motivation to do this. And not much is lost eh, most topics are about season 1, and copy/paste will fix the rest for you.

Actually I realy want an internal forum. This way, more users will be active on the forums.

Yeah, and I don't think you have to make it from scratch. The Footballidentity forum looks very standard, it's basically just a template with some stuff tweaked, but it's synched with the main site.

Yes. It isn't made from scratch. It's a script from the internet modified so that when a user logins in the game he is also logged in on the forum.

Indeed ;D A few months ago, I already experimented with creating my own forum using YAF.NET (Yet Another Forum). But I had some weird problems with the MySQL database that was generated and I left to do something else The link is still valid: forum.peloton-game.comIt appears the forum works now If you want, you could register there and experiment a bit with the functionalities. Don't pay attention to the layout as that is still the default. If it turns out that all necessary functionalities are available, we could start thinking about what to do next. We'd really have our own forum, and then I can also integrate the game with the forum.

You never seize to amaze me Il Padrino, great work.
And I just switched to Peloton-Gray, and just the colorsheme makes the forum more part of the game.
I made an account on the other one, but I'll test it out some day later on.
