I like joelags ideas and insights. But jnjured cyclists never finish a stage, do they? So I believe that option 3 won't be possible, unfortunately. If you want to make Peloton more realistic, cyclists could become ill too at random times. I must agree with option 1, with the reason that healed cyclists sometimes can't finish tours, which makes little sense. In the last Tour de France J. Hoogerland had a bad fall and got injured too, but he got to continue..

Today on Granada > Sierra de la Pandera: Mountain 2 1. Monnot $2,500 2. Marero $1,500 3. Cartier $500 But final standings: Nr Cyclist Fl Fa Time Team 1. Bregge 0 0 4:51:04 Skill-Schizmano 2. Garcia 0 0 +2:05 Mercatone Due 3. Menard 0 0 +2:05 Zapardiel 4. Calvet 0 0 +2:05 Skill-Schizmano 5. Monnot 0 0 +3:27 Skill-Schizmano 6. Cartier 0 0 +3:27 De Pedaallekes ......... 44. Marero 0 1 +12:45 Zapardiel Minimum of 9:18 lost in 1km, despite the fall (he is not injured), it seems too much in my opinion, you can do it quicker even walking

is not a bug, every team choose a cyclist for mountain/sprint points.
You could finish last in the race but first in mountain points if the other teams not choose a cyclist for mountain points.
edit, sorry i make a mistake you compare Cartier with Marero ?

"Falls: when a cylist falls during a race, he will have to race 3 extra kms on the terrain he has fallen onto" - peloton wiki
I'm guessing he is bad at mountain? but he won mountain intermediates...

One of my best riders fell today (just once) and lost more than 10 minutes. Normally he ends at least top 10. Maybe it isn't a bug but just a huge fall, but 10 minutes??

you compare Cartier with Marero ? Yes, thats the point. "Falls: when a cylist falls during a race, he will have to race 3 extra kms on the terrain he has fallen onto" - peloton wiki I'm guessing he is bad at mountain? but he won mountain intermediates... He is quite good at mountain, my best climber and surely top5 in my group´s Vuelta. One of my best riders fell today (just once) and lost more than 10 minutes. Normally he ends at least top 10. Maybe it isn't a bug but just a huge fall, but 10 minutes?? This, but in my case the 10 minutes lost were just in the last kilometre, between last mountain sprint and stage end.

Hm, could be possible that image is still linked to the English language. I'll check and update. What's the Romanian translation for 'No picture available'? Sorry for the late answer. 'Imagine indisponibilă'
