Look, most managers are just like you, adults with or without children. We all have jobs and really enjoy keeping the game online. Let's get to the point, what's coming in and what are your spending on the game? How big is the amount that you put in every year. The server costs $ 1006. With the current dollar/euro rate that means € 840. The amount of premium in the last 12 months was the highest in 4 years since alomost everybody does his best to help. Last 12 months was € 464. So a cheaper server would help. If someone knows his way around that, I would be realy happy. I can give the information that I have.

True, making a calendar is more difficult than it looks. I made last seasons and if you want to make one suitable for everyone it means a lot of thinking, planning, balancing, check back, adjust and math. And of course be creative and try to be objective and don’t look to much at your own riders.
But that costa that much time that you can’t do it every season.
So volunteers are always welcome.

All spring classics are almost the same. It doesn't really matter to me, it's just monotonous. I agree with this. It is realistic compared to real life but there are too many similar races close to each other in my opinion. With Nieuwsblad, Kuurne, Samyn, StradeB, Setti stage 3, E3, GentWG, DwarsDV, RondeVV, BrabantseP, AmstelG, FlecheW, there are 12 out of the next 22 races almost similar to each other (without counting U22). That is absolutely right, but that also gives chances to the other teams than the top teams to win races. The situstion is the same for everybody and no managers has riders to win all of these races. Therefore I am a bit surprised that some of these teams have their line up ready for the entire week on sunday evening. If you are in the bottom half of the league and you have a real good cyclist with chances to a win, I would be sure to avoid some other good riders, which is really possible this week.

I experience the same issue. Thanks for the help Mike. I think for the future we have to maximize the number of attackpoints to 15.

----------------- IMPORTANT MESSAGE -----------------
I need your attention dear managers. As most of you know I am paying for this game, I won't repeat the entire story how that happened, you can find it somewhere here if you want to know.
My kids are getting older and the first one started studying already, the second one will start in September. Unfortunately in Holland you will have to pay for that yourself completely and since kids cannot afford that, it is up to the parents to do that. This means I have to carefully consider how I spend my money.
That also means that I cannot afford to pay for this entire lot. That means that I need to find a solution to keep this game alive. Helder already mentioned we probably need to find another, cheaper, server. I know absolutely nothing about computers. For me this is all abracadabra. I just payed for the one the original developer used. Finding another takes knowledge, and probably some things to do that I don't understand.
Other options to raise money so the game can fund itself is raising premium money (which, to be honest, I don't want to, because I don't want to create something that some managers can't afford), raising the number of managers (which isn't easy if we don't improve certain aspects of the game), ask managers who can afford it to make a donation or find a developer who wants to develop the game, make it bigger and generate more money through more managers. The last is of course the best option, but Schizm, Helder and I tried that, but we couldn't find anyone.
So dear managers, we need your help to keep this game running. It is not that I can't pay anything anymore, it is just that I can't afford to pay for the difference between the server costs and the premium money alone.
Concrete ideas and/or suggestions?
Thanks for your attention.

Just to show appreciation... Love this years callender, expecially the sprints before attack points. Sprint jersey is now exiting. Thx Thanks. That was the idea. To make that also a goal, not only for stagehunting and the yellow. In 1.1 Polly made a goal of it and he will win the green.

July 14 should be correct. I’ll contact Helder. First impression calender: Of the 6 first weeks... Nice, love it. It will be puzzling. Stage 1 Vuelta a Colombia: Medellin-Santa Helena: ITT with 3 Attack Points ? Strade Bianchi has become a sprint stage? No AP? Tour de L'Avenir: 3rd stage is a U21 (which is correct I think) First 2 stages: any cyclist can be subscribed. Giro d'Italia: twice Pinzolo-Aprica. (Different distances etc) - 2 Individual TT? It are all existing races so strange that these things haven't been discovered before. I think stage 1 in Colombia won't be a problem. I tried te set my team and the only option I had was to save fitness. Strade Bianchi is indeed a sprint race. That was the wish of Naspa. Tour de L'Avenir is a U21 tour so that is really strange. I'll ask Helder to adjust. Twice Pinzolo - Aprica indeed, but 2 different stages. 1 with late attackpoints. And indeed 2 ITT's in 1 week. Like I mentioned, I wanted to make a calendar where you need to make choices and there should be room for everybody to win races, if you make a good estimation of your competitors. Therefore we startwith 2x Adelaide street circui. 1 is a flat sprint race, the other a complete flat race. If you don't think you have the strongest sprinter, you can try for stage 2. And there is another sprint race in week 1. In week 5 you have 2 hill races, so you can chose which one to send your best hiller to. I deliberately did that kind of things to give the less stronger teams more chances. And with a huge amount of different races in week 3 and 4 it is impossible for any team to have a good rider in all these races. So, choicec, choices, choices.
