What does a cyclist look like when trained to perfection? (at say 36y old) To make it interesting and equall; post fictive riders with a skill of 55
Hiller? Climber? Flat specialist? Sprinter? TT specialist? and so on
I'm talking about absolute top riders. (fiction ofcourse) I would like to read opinions like for instance a climber needs so and so skills etc.

just for fun, my idea for a climber
Flat 7 Hill 7 Mountain 17 Downhill 3 Sprint 9 TimeT 12
Up to you all to change the numbers and make him better to your opinion; or maybe try it with a hiller etc.

I am trying to make a rider like this: Flat - 7 Hill - 10 Mountain - 15 DH - 5 Sprint - 7 TT - 12

i prefer more sprint mike, something like
7 7 15 3 12 12

Hey guy's, this is getting interesting. So for mountaineers we allready have 3 different opinions What about for instance hillers, or any other type of rider? Who'll take a shot at it? It's all fiction, so feel free to post you're opinions... p.s. For the sake of this discussion plz stick to skill 55, the two proposels above are both 56 skill points

Hiller
my idea (keeping in mind the max of skill 55)
Flat: 8 Hill: 16 Mountain: 8 Downhill: 3 sprint: 10 TT: 10
so anyone have other idea's, and why?

15 15 15, dont think that is possible to achieve that.
You pay too much attention to the main skill, it just takes too long. Certainly for Hill and flat. Mountain, we can discuss about this, but Hill and flat i would stop around 14. In div1 you dont get away with 10-10 sp TT

Mike,
The maximum skill isn't 55. I am really hoping to hit 60 this season with one of my riders. He already has 58 and I have one monoskill he has 5. I am training him on that and hope he reaches 7 this season (the rider is 35 yo) and then he has 60. A skill sum I thought that couldn't be reached.
Getting skills up to 8 if the FA isn't good, cost too much time.
In my opinion, you should find a monoskill with great FA, train it to 15, keep the other 3 on 7 and sprint and tt to 12.
Than it can be done.
So, more or less 15-7-7-7-12-12

Hi, I set this topic on max 55 because higher than that can not be reached by most riders. Higher ones are exeptional.
How about this idea: Any tipe of cyclist should have minimum 12 sprint and 12 TT. All agree?

I don't know it's necessary..
No hard feelings..
