Oh well, I love them But it's quite remarkable indeed, so few teams. I expected at least Bredael to go all in today, but appearantly Ab wants to use him somewhere else. And I think that many teams in our division don't have riders trained for TTs only, so they probably use their riders in other races.
Because Brognoli is injured and Pratte sold, I have to use Bredael tomorrow. Because of the 10km mountain I cannot use Zulani. Tomorrow Bredael has a chance to win, today he didn’t. Altough I was surprised that the difference was n’t that high with Bredael on save fitness. Also the difference with Slayer wasn’t that big. Ah, I didn't see the injury of Brognoli, but that explains a lot. I indeed think his chances are higher tomorrow, although with Brembilla en Freitas there are also some strong competitors. For me Raemdonck is the man tomorrow, but I don't think he's good enough to win.
The time difference to Blicharz was not that strange I think, it was only 14 km. In fact, if we compare it to the ITT in the Tour of Filipinas last season (the most comparable that both of them rode) and multiply the time gap of today by 53/14, we would get a gap of 1:38, whereas it was 1:45. So I think the gap to Blicharz is quite normal then. And similarly we could go back for Bredael, which gives 35 seconds for today if he would have went full. That would have brought him the 3rd place, sounds realistic to me. (And I know, these calculations are not entirely perfect. Calculating the average speed would be better (especially when we could do it for the flat parts only), but I think this gives a decent indication)

That you wouldn't be satisfied with a 2nd or 3th place, says a lot about your winning mentality and killer instinct Bredael best of the rest. The small differences are more due to the short distance, more then the strenght of the riders. In a 'normal' TT of 50km (like the WC), the difference Nieberg-Blicharz would be about 1'30" ... still big gaps in this discipline. Impressive Batata in 2:2 by the way. Congrats there ! Edit: lol - so what BAM says 1 minute before me

A lot of super climbing goats lined up for tomorrow: the 2 cockfighters Timm and Cavaco, Delacour, Arsenault, newbie Pezin (best rider in 2:2 last season) ... a first test !

For Sundays race: a battle Verstraeten - Saloio for sure. The question is more: will the gap be that big they fight for the GC too ? They need 8 minutes on the trio Heuts - Schuller - Feerick. This 2 are that strong, Im scared its possible, I hope it isn't

Easier win than expected for Timm. Interesting stage today. My guys for today are Cwiakala for the stage and Feerick for GC.

Crap, Miranda out for 4 weeks. He couldn't have timed it worse with all those hill races coming up.
the gap between Timm and Cavaco surprised me as well, I even thought for a moment Cavaco might be riding at 85%.
Still no sign of Franconia, didn't log-in since the 24th, very strange. Hope he's on Holiday without a good connection or something...

Ouwch. Was dissapointed with the sixth place of Stoop today. I am on vacation and have to do it with my phone. When I checked my tactics I saw I forgot to give Stoop effort. Stupid mistake of me.
