Engel: "I was a bit afraid of the challenge with Lebon, so the team had decided that I had to go full for this stage."
manager Dustin: "Indeed, Engel had to much stress for the confrontation, the risk for a good gc was to big. ('whispering' Luce get his chance in the mountains)

Nice race today! Chaos all over.
indeed, not big time differences, but it can be important lost time ……
also interesting by seeing the day result in combination with the fitness of the riders, not as expected … a bit strange, but to understand

Me too. Will be interesting to see. New generation clasic rider Montauti vs the older Van Nes. Place 4 and 5 it could be. Or 3 and 6. No win expected. VanBesien is favorite tomorrow. But it would be good to see Montauti closing in on VanNes.

I think van Nes wins it if he wants to. Or cagan. Vanbesien only 29.

Well, hill skill is key today. Van Nes is a very decent all round rider with some extra flat skill. VanBesien is an upcoming hill rider, with some impressive results this season. Cagan might be the best hill rider today, yet he seems to have some problem understanding the tactics of his manager.

Ohw... we did overlook good old Rizas. Congratz to Levi. Both my riders did fall - Van Nes even in good position in the last part. That should not happen in races like this.

Sacha Lange:
"Congrats to Rizas and Leers.
It is probably my last season so i'm happy with this podium. Fighting with the best till the end is a privilege being 37 years old"
