great performance of Cagan ! Dustin advices were right. Brantenaar and Matejek are impressive. Seems like podium is for these 2... one place left with many contenders. Let's jump into 2nd Week !

To distract the bad performing and unlucky... We go now to the: Tours of California! Which offers chances for all kind of riders: Race 1: 100% flat-sprint Race 2: all about hill Race 3: for the mountain goats.
MothersoI: Thys for YC and Soria for stage 2 or for GC?
Carapaz: VanBesien for stage 2, Bedos for stage 3.
Levi: Petry and Flinois are back from injuries. Saltman and Stracciati are there as well. Impressive line-up. Time to take some points and cash? Petry for GC. Saltman maybe for the sprint?
TGV: young team, maybe Belem for YC?
Dustin: Always surprises us with confusing strategies. Also this time something to choose: Maury sprint? Simon and Galvez top 5 stages? Alaluf YC?
PollyJean: Two climbers, Dell'Angelo for GC and Hoydonckx for Polkadot? And a sprinter, Leonte.
Joachim: also a strategy with two climbers, Bricco and Majusiak.
TCC: Villers for some points.
Devils: testing some young riders. Gershkovich and Cordonnier are the most senior (29) in this team. Hope to see what he can do.
PantN: 3 guys of 25 year old, Gheorghe, Pequeno and Salvetti. For sure podium in YC?
Naspa: since the sprint is day 1, victory seems more or less secure for Camozzi. Goselink for top 3 in stage 2.
VdGG: we are about to lose him :-( If you read this, please come back and play. We will let you win a few races. ;-)
Stage 1: Camozzi, Leonte, Maury or Simon, Saltman and maybe Gershkovich? Stage 2: Soria, VanBesien, Goselink, Flinois and maybe even Saltman (if not sprinting day 1)? Stage 3: depends on the targets: Petry, Bedos, Bricco, Majusiak, Hoydonckx/Dell'Angelo maybe even Soria again?

Camozzi was the best sprinter today. At age only 29 I think he is one of the riders who has potential div 1 quality. Team did well. 2 flat tires did not hurt him.
For tomorrow. 12 attackpoints to choose from... Hope I did well. But Goselink needs all the luck I was lacking recently.

yesterday: Galvez: "I had an important mission yesterday, we had a good plan. But a fall of me in the begin of the race ruined it. A strange move from another rider was the reason of my fall. I can not prove that it was with premeditation. If that is so, I can understand, other teams are be scared about our team." Maury: "I am the best sprinter of our team in this race. So it was to me. But a fall with a nasty aftertaste ruined my opportunities. How was it possible, I was for a moment after the peloton to talk by our car, and suddenly when we were going under a bridge a little swimming pool came in front of my bike. That is no longer a coincidence. I was in shock for a moment but lucky no injuries. After that I saved my energy." ( )

Maury: "My suggestion was to go for a good gc, but dustin, manager from team dustin had said, no, only today you get chance to attack. So I was go at full speed, but it was not really an ideal stage for me. So I have done my best, 6th, not real good. Hope to get a better opportunity soon."
Alaluf: "I am happy, it was going well. YC is still possible."

Soria (MOI) as expected. Happy with Goselinks (NAS) 3d place. But most impressed with the second place of 28 year old Morales (POL)!
Tomorrow a no-hill race in the Giro. Maybe something for one of the Devils riders Lebon or Auge?
