well, the 8mil transfer fee starts paying off we could say:-) We all know he his one of the best hillers in the game. He is Div1 material. I assume arsenal is giving him TT at the moment. That was his only weakness left. So he is only getting stronger. If you see that he wins races at 75% fitness... well, that says it all. I forgot how he looked like, do you remember? something like this? Flat 7 Hill 15 Mountain 7 Downhill 3 Sprint 7 Time trial 7

IF I manage to stay in 2.1 I need two more seasons to be competitive in youth again… Had some bad pulls last three-four seasons... I had great pulls in the time being. I had to sell some due almost bankrupcy, but I still have 10 left. age 22 up to 26. with skill sum 24 up to 37. So they are not that bad. But they need some training still. They are a 4 - 5 yr plan (season) now. Youth scout was 17-17-17.

I knew Strauss was good, but I didn't think he was 2nd and 1st in consecutive stages, both at 75% good. I haven't looked at our times vs 1.1 or 2.2 though, maybe we're a weak hill division? I thought I'd keep him fit for the nice couple of Belgian classics in the next few weeks so glad it's worked out!
He's better than that Mike but you're close on the general spread - 53 visible skills points currently.
I'm doing far too well here though. Can't say I exactly planned to get better / go for promotion, but now we're here so I guess I might as well?

a weak hill Div? I don't know. Lacusta is not my best hill guy. I've got better ones. But, not hill 15...

Cormier retired at age 35. He was Flat 7 Hill 14 Mountain 7 Downhill 7 Sprint 8 Time trial 10 He would have been handy in this season...
I think Niculae (WC VroOom) also isn't bad on HI.

9 single races coming up. Hopefully they get me some points to get out of the red zone in the division standings. We start with a big classic: Milan-San Remo. The weight of the race should be on the shoulders of Arsenal '98, who has with Szekely and Bertram 2 guys at the start with already a win this season. I told Blerinca with his current form, he should be aiming for podium. But he probably won't be the only one with that goal...

Very close. Waer should have stayed on his two wheels and avoid the nails. A 4 men sprint. And nobody thought Becucci could win. Ahnert and Becucci made a nice couple. Than Becucci attacked and formed a couple with Waer. At the hill sections having a gap of 1'02" to close to Filipe and Bertram. And it was in the final downhill section Waer and Becucci had still a gap of 6 seconds to bridge. And they did it. They both flew over Filipe and Bertram at the final line. VERY CLOSE!!

Niculaie is idd a hill specialist, with some DH and mountain. Currently 51 visible skill points. Getting one more level of TT and then sprint. But, he is not as good as Strauss
Today I totally forgot to put together a team, been busy in life. I'm not that dedicated at this moment, don't care much. Maybe because of the poor results, maybe the good weather. Don't know. Fact is that I'm kinda walking the same path as Chakra. There are some good youngsters in my squad, 22-28, but it's clear that they are too weak to compete with the big guys. Still need some seasons to earn some extra training.

I did wonder why you (evilD) did not subscribe a team. A few seasons ago I too had the feeling of no intrest in the game any more. No time, good weather, lack of results...etc. But in one way or another I kept the thing going on an regained the fun in the game. So Vroompie!! Don't let us down!! Don't give up!!

If you see the results of Gent-Wevelgem, posotion 3-6 are guys with the age of 26-29. Rayside might already score next season. PS: did anyone try to sabotage this race? In the top 12, only 2 cylists didn't have a fall or flat

In this weeks first classic we go straight through the beautifull Flanders, where FL is important, but MO will be decisive. Rios (GIK team) might take another win and take a huge lead in the Cyclist Standings. I only see Abreu (Headcase Pro Cycling) as a real contender. Melodia (JOOP Cycling Team) for the 3rd podium spot? When typing this, Arsenal '98 hasn't put a team in yet, so he might have a contender too. For my team, Venturelli will go for top 5, but his MO isn't good enough, so he'll try to take some time in an early escape.
